THE FLAMES ARE BURNING
The Calgary Flames have held true to their offseason promises of bringing in new faces, and so far, it has worked. The Flames are off to a 3-2-1 record and have been playing well, although new coach Mike Keenan was not overly happy with things so far." We have gotten the wins, but weve been outshot in every game. That needs to change, we can't keep relying on Jocelyn (Thibault) to bail us out every game." Today, the Flames added some fire power, acquiring youngster Josh Hartnell from the Nashville Predators. In return, the Flames sent second line RW Josef Vasicek and Dman Sergei Gusev. The Flames hope that Hartnell's passing will compliment Vincent Lecavailer and new acquisition Jamie Lundmark. Look for more activity in the Flames front office this season, as they hope to add another big name to their steadily improving roster. - Jon
