Ben & Jerry's French Vanilla Ice Cream
Ingredients
1 large egg
3/4 Cup of sugar
2 cups of whipping cream
1 cup of milk
2 tsp of vanilla extract
Method
- Whisk the egg in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Mix in the sugar, a little at a time. Continue whisking until completely blended.
- Pour in the cream, milk, and vanilla. Whisk untill blended.
- Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker, and freeze,
following the manufacturer's instructions. (Makes 1 quart).
