Poems

First Entry:

"You all want what you can't have, look past the things you do. Society is a mass of tangled web, yet I am just like everyone of you. I, like you, can feel the internal pain, from the heart, center of this perverse strain. At night we all look up to the sky, wishing on the first star flying by. What we wish for is in all our minds: pride, envy, gluttony, lust, anger, greed, sloth. Anything to help our own selfish behinds. But unlike you I keep my heart pure, I am different from you, this I am sure! Because while you live your selfish, commercialized lives, I am pouring my soul out to make strives. You see, my friends, life is best when lived and in peace, this hatred and self anguish needs to cease. Different hair, different skin, different eyes, different name, nothing matters when we all bleed the same. Nothing matters when we all bleed the same."
