Multiplayer Levels
Subway
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: good
Lighting with breakable lights gone: average
You may recognize this location from the movie Predator 2, where the Predator breaks into the subway car. The level consists of a main area which is outside. The clock tower in the center has a set of stairs leading to its roof. You can also enter the subway, where it is more confined. There is a crawl space beneath the subway car. There is also a secret room in this level where you can enter and freely shoot at enemies while safe from harm (see if you can find it). Aliens must be wary of the electrified fence which surrounds the upper levels of the outside area. This level is the only multiplayer level you can play on the AvP Demo version, so it has also become popular amongst many AvP gamers.
Elevator
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: average
Lighting with breakable lights gone: poor
This area consists of four identical levels which consist of one circular corridor with smaller rooms branching out. The small rooms contain ammo caches, and also crawl spaces in the ceiling for Aliens to move freely between the rooms undetected. In the center of this circular path there are also small opened spaces. This level is not very popular to play on.
Lab 14
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: good
Lighting with breakable lights gone: average
This level has some popularity among AvP players. It consists of small corridors leading to multiple rooms. Most rooms have obstacles of some sort in them, such as benches, desks, or piping, that drastically slows Alien players down while running. There are a few vents in the ceiling that Aliens and Predators can reach to pass from room to room.
Compound
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: poor
Lighting with breakable lights gone: poor
Most of this level is patterened like an Alien Hive. It consists of many winding tunnels in a maze-like fashion. These lead usually to more tunnels of the same sort, but occasionally will end in a large open space. A few corridors have open flames in them which will set you on fire if you touch them. There is also another higher level here with columns of Hive resin.
Office
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag
Lighting: excellent
Lighting with breakable lights gone: excellent
This is the worst level for Aliens to play in as it is extremely bright. It's a very popular level for Marine deathmatches. There are four levels here. The bottom level is very small and consists of a corridor with open flame that will set you on fire if you touch it. The second level is mostly short corridors with a few small rooms. The third level is the office building. Inside there are red walls you can destroy, and computers which explode when attacked. There are also two smaller rooms and two bathrooms here. The top level has more computers and a bathroom, and also an area overlooking the third floor and a small attack room behind the stairwell.
Sewer
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: poor
Lighting with breakable lights gone: very poor
This is a level with many small corridors and many sets of stairs. There are also quite a few flashing lights. Be wary, as this level can get very dark very quickly. This level has become more popular recently.
Massacre
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag
Lighting: average
Lighting with breakable lights gone: poor
This level consists of many small winding corridors and stairs. There are very few open spaces here, and the constant sound of the alarm klaxon can distract you from other important sounds of battle. This level is rarely ever used by AvP gamers.
Statue
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag
Lighting: average
Lighting with breakable lights gone: average
This is one of my personal favorite levels to play on. It consists of several open levels connected by stairwells in small corridors. The levels surround a giant Alien statue. The bottom level is the top battle spot however, and has a crawl space for Aliens near its ceiling. Lighting can become poor in the small corridors, but everywhere else is fairly average.
Jockey
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: average
Lighting with breakable lights gone: average
The main area of this level is the large open room with the dead Space Jockey in it. There are many other Hive and metal corridors as well, with another open space outside of the Hive itself. This level is not very popular, although occasionally it is played.
Hive
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: good
Lighting with breakable lights gone: good
This level is very small. It consists of a few levels. On the top level there is a small open space, otherwise it is rather confined. There is also some Alien Hive space on the bottom level, but it is also very dark there and players rarely venture inside.
Leadworks
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: average
Lighting with breakable lights gone: very poor
You may recognize this location from the movie Alien 3. This is where they try to lure the runner Alien through the leadworks. Of course, it is filled with long, winding corridors and a few open spaces. There are also a few crawl spaces at the top level that only Aliens can reach.
Hadley's Hope
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: good
Lighting with breakable lights gone: poor
You may recognize this location from the movie Aliens. There is a long crawl space above the main level for Aliens to crawl through. The level itself consists of small rooms and corridors, and is very confining. Below the main level there is a system of small corridors and vents as well. This level is popular among AvP players.
Meat Factory
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: average
Lighting with breakable lights gone: very poor
You may recognize this location from the movie Predator 2, where Harrigan faces the Predator. This level is notoriously dark, which can make it difficult even for Alien players. It consists of a perfect mix of small corridors and open rooms, plus vents going through the entire level for Aliens to go through.
Nostromo
Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Predator Tag, Alien Tag, Cooperative
Lighting: good
Lighting with breakable lights gone: good
You may recognize this location from the movie Alien. This is the biggest multiplayer level in the game, and it is massive. It consists of huge open spaces and long, wide corridors. There are a few crawl spaces in the ceiling for Aliens, but the sheer size of this level makes it difficult for them to make an ambush.
Stranded
Cooperative
Lighting: good
Lighting with breakable lights gone: good
You will aways spawn in the same location in this level. From there you must drop a ways to the main area of this level. It is very straightforward, and goes in a single line. At the end, it reaches a wide open space with a bunker.
Trapped
Cooperative
Lighting: average
Lighting with breakable lights gone: poor
This is an extremely small level, so you really will feel trapped. Because of its small size, this is a very difficult level to play Cooperative in. All it consists of is one small corridor and one small, open room.
