Which species will beat which species in the upcoming movie, Aliens vs Predator? NOTE: CONTAINS SPOILERS
Ok! So the movie is over and now we have to decide the winners of this bet!
Now, of course, I know judging the winners myself may see a bit biased, but I would admit if I considered myself to be the loser of this bet. With that said, let's take a look at what happened.
End of the movie, we're down to three characters, Scar, Lex, and the Queen. The Queen stabs Scar with her tail, running him through. Lex ends up killing the Queen, and Scar later dies from the wound inflicted upon him. At the movie's end, we see a chestburster come up from Scar's dead body. SO, this makes it look like Aliens beat Predators, and humans beat Aliens.
One could argue the fact that, yes, it seems all the Aliens were killed, except for that one Predalien chestburster, and there were still Predators at the end of the movie, but those Predators were not part of the hunt. Scar was doomed from the moment the facehugger impregnated him halfway through the movie. The fact that all the Predators that came on the hunt died, and the fact that an Alien still remained, leads me to believe that Aliens truly did beat the Predators. I would reconsider this ONLY IF the Predalien chestburster was not at the end of the movie, in which case it would seem to be a draw.
My verdict: Aliens beat Predators, humans beat Aliens
