This site was spawned through my experiences as a premed just a few short years ago. I keenly remember what a difficult period of time it was trying to balance researching which med schools to apply to while simultaneously keeping my GPA up, studying for the MCAT, working in a lab, getting medical experience, and volunteering in order to stay competitive enough to even apply. What I discovered during that process was that while there were many good resources out there, enormous amounts of time were spent sifting through material that was unimportant or irrelevant before finding the truly useful information. Fortunately most of what I came across was saved and together with other helpful information found over the years what I've tried to create is a resource I think would've been nice to have back when I was going through the application process. Many thanks go out to the students across the nation who filled out surveys and gave back to the premedical community. Also, a reminder this is a multi-opinionated resource and views expressed are solely those of individual medical students. This is only intended as a guide.
