I am officially a Bruin. I am starting at UCLA this school year and majoring in biology. Hopefully, I will end up at medical school, but that is a long way from now. I am also cheering at UCLA. For all of you who don't know me to well, cheer is a huge part of my life and I absolutely love it. Also, I was hired by USA and got to spend this summer coaching cheer camps. I had the time of my life all summer long and cannot wait for next summer. And to add on to the cheer craze, I am still coaching gymnastics!
So, I have been cheering since the seventh grade, before which, I was a gymnast. I started out on Los Al Jrs--AKA Jr Griffins-- now known as Titan Elite. From there I cheered for my high school team at Los Alamitos High School. It was an awesome four years. Our team won two USA National Champioinships, two COA National Championships and our stunt group won two COA National Championships and had a whole bunch of fun along the way. As I said above, I work for a company called United Spirit Association or USA. These are my pictures from this summer (I lost a bunch of pics during a camera fiasco)--Check 'em out! Considering that a lot of my friends call my family the brady bunch....I guess we are just one of those "we like each other" families. I think most of the nickname stemed from when I was younger and every sunday we went on a family rollerblade/ bike/ run... or that we go on a thousand family vacations and enjoy them....or that we eat dinner as a family and enjoy that too. Its not a bad thing at all, my family is awesome. Its just my mom, Mary; my dad, Randy; and my older sister, Kristi. My sister is 20 and goes to USD...we are really close which is a lot of fun! Best of all, we go on the coolest trips. My most favorite of them all are the river rafting trips...Here are some pictures of the more recent family adeventures and brady bunch moments--Enjoy!
Then there are all my friends! A lot of the girls in the Los Al cheer pics are some of my closest friends--we have been cheering together since the seventh grade. Shea and I were captains of our team in eigth grade and then captains again our senior year...way fun! Then there was the Mc Gaugh Crew--...Cassie and Jen...We all stayed friends from kindergarden through 12th grade. Then there are my girls...Kacey, Ash, Karelyn, Liz and Lauren....I miss ya girls!
