Scotland Rugby League Junior Section

Welcome to the Section devoted to the Scotland Rugby League's highly regarded Junior set-up. We aim to bring you all the news on what is happening where and when throughout the country. If you have a news article you would like to share, send it to the webmaster.

At the moment there are currently some 4,000 juniors playing Rugby League in Glasgow each week through Schools, After-School Clubs and now fully operational organised club outfits. Junior Rugby League also operates in the capital under the careful eye of Edinburgh Eagles & Scotland Amateur International players Simon Hogg and Ross Neil.

This season sees the start of a mini-league consisting of the already established Junior clubs in the Central Belt. For a full list of the forthcoming fixtures click here

Panthers on the prowl in Easterhouse

Mark Senter, Scotland's Rugby League Development Officer, is proud to announce the formation of another new junior club, Easterhouse Panthers J.R.L.F.C.

The club are based at Cranhill Beacon, Cranhill, Glasgow and their location serves the Greater Easterhouse area of Glasgow.

Training is every Thursday at 6:30pm at Cranhill Beacon.

Darnley Devils - New kids on the block

The first Junior Club set up in Scotland with it's own Committee and Constitution is the Darnley Devils. A website charting the progress of the Devils is currently under construction. The club details are as follows and should you have a kid who wishes to take up 'The Greatest Game' please encourage all to come along.
