Perfin Society Monogram [2K] Perfin Society Monogram [2K]

HOME

We usually meet twice a year in London.
Our next meeting here will be on Saturday 22 November 2008 between 12 noon and 5pm.
Meetings are also occasionally held at other locations in the UK.

Meetings are a chance for members to discuss Society matters, to trade perfins and to chat about perfins in general.
Members are encouraged to bring along some pages of their collection, or anything else that might be of interest, to show.
The meetings are informal and all are welcome. If you are not yet a member, drop in and meet us and find out a bit more about perfins and the Perfin Society

We have a new venue for our next meeting:
Horseferry Road, Building, TA Centre, 95 Horseferry Road, Westminster, London. SW1P 2DY.
We have the Dining Room - Blue Room, with the use of a kitchen for refreshments.

The map below shows the location, which is within walking distance of Victoria and St. James's Park stations.

The venue is nearly opposite the Channel 4 Building and is to the rear of the New Horticultural Hall where Philatex takes place - shown as R.H.S. New Hall on the above map.

The nearest Undergorund station is St James's Park on the Circle and District lines. Exit the station by The Broadway exit, turn right (past New Scotland Yard) and walk south across Victoria Street into Strutton Ground then into Horseferry Road to the venue, which is a 5-10 minute walk.

The nearest mainline rail and bus station is Victoria. From there, walk along Victoria Street, past House of Fraser, turn right into Strutton Ground then continue into Horseferry Road to the venue.

The 507 bus runs past the venue both ways between Victoria and Waterloo.
There are also the 11 and 24 buses that run along Victoria Street: alight for New Scotland Yard, and walk south through Strutton Ground into Horseferry Road.

Entry will be via intercom with the caretaker. A lift by the entrance takes you to the second floor and the room is directly in front of you.
Those intending to attend are requested to let the Acting Secretary Stephen Steere, 1 Nicolson Road, Orpington, Kent. BR5 4EH know, as a list of names attending are required by the venue in advance.

Parking is free on Saturdays on the single yellow lines in Elverton Street.
