We usually meet twice a year in London. Meetings are also occasionally
held at other locations in the UK.
Anybody interested in perfins is welcome to attend our meetings.
Our most recent meeting was the Spring Meeting on 6th May in London, attended by 25 members. There was a room auction and many stamps were on display, including a particularly large range of perfins from Richard Husband, and Alastair Walter's Early Commercial Overprints 1863-1881
Further details will appear in the Bulletin.
Date: Saturday 4th November 2017
Time: 12pm - 4pm
Venue: Grosvenor Auctions, 3rd floor, 399 - 401 Strand, London WC2R 0LT
This venue is above Stanley Gibbons shop on the Strand, within walking distance of Embankment, Charing Cross and Leicester Square stations.
The entrance to Grosvenor Auctions is separate from Stanley Gibbons shop.
After entering the first door use the entry-phone, then after the second door turn right for the lift to the 3rd floor.
The map is not to scale and not every street is shown.
Meetings are a chance for members to discuss Society matters, to trade perfins and to chat about perfins in general.
Members are encouraged to bring along some pages of their collection, or anything else that might be of interest, to show.
The meetings are informal and all are welcome.
If you are not yet a member, drop in and meet us and find out a bit more about perfins and the Perfin Society.
