We usually meet twice a year in London. Meetings are also occasionally
held at other locations in the UK.
Anybody interested in perfins is welcome to attend our meetings.
Our last meeting was the AGM in London on 1st. November. 20 members attended, there was a large room auction and 150 sheets of perfin material (and 2 perforating machines) were displayed.
Following John Donner's resignation as Auctioneer, our Librarian Sean Brady offered to take on the role of Auctioneer, an offer which was accepted at the meeting.
Further details will appear in the December issue of the Bulletin.
Venue: Grosvenor Auctions, 3rd floor, 399 - 401 Strand, London WC2R 0LT
This venue is above Stanley Gibbons shop on the Strand, within walking distance of Embankment, Charing Cross and Leicester Square stations.
The entrance to Grosvenor Auctions is separate from Stanley Gibbons shop. After entering the first door use the entry-phone, then after the second door turn right for the lift to the 3rd floor.
The map is not to scale and not every street is shown.
Meetings are a chance for members to discuss Society matters, to trade perfins and to chat about perfins in general.
Members are encouraged to bring along some pages of their collection, or anything else that might be of interest, to show.
The meetings are informal and all are welcome.
If you are not yet a member, drop in and meet us and find out a bit more about perfins and the Perfin Society.
