Craft Fair Poster
Skill One: Determining Color Scheme
For this poster that MR. LePoint asked me todo, I had to have a color scheme of black and white as it was going to be photocopied and any color would just be lost. That sounds easy enough but trying to find pictures in b&w that are interesting isnt.
Skill Two: Picture Incorperation
I found many christmas and craft related pictures but very few in black and white or that could be transfered to black and white and still look good. Finally stettled on simple black outlined santa, stockings and other christmas items.
Skill Three: Titling
Next came determining what font to use and how much of the information that was given to me needed to go on the actual poster. I needed to find a font that was thick enough to read and stand out but interesting enough to catch peoples attention. I decided on font but had to adjust size later as some of it was lost in the printing.
Skill Four: Layout and Balance
Finally I had to take all these element and put them together in a way that wasnt cluttered and was appealing to the viewer. This is what the final product looked like.
