Karl MacDermott’s series of fifteen-minute shows about an Irish family in the profoundly strange village of Tubberbiggle.  MacDermott himself played the anti-hero, workshy bus driver Jack Mahaffy; his capable wife Cora was played by Pauline McLynn of Channel 4’s Father Ted (to which this series showed a vague resemblance).
