What Is Pokemon? Pokemon is a VERY popular videogame that originated in Japan nicknamed "Pocket Monsters". Pokemon are animals that you can catch with Pokeballs and variations of Pokeballs such as Master Balls. When you catch them you can train them and build their strength. Once they are strong, you can use them in Pokemon Battles.
