Encouraged by his friend, Dean (Ben Affleck), factory owner Joel (Jason Bateman) considers escaping his problems -- an assembly-line accident, a potential lawsuit and a sexless marriage, for starters -- by taking up with the gorgeous new temp, Cindy (Mila Kunis). But does Cindy have something nefarious up her sleeve?
Mike Judge has created an entertaining and very funny comedy about the employees at a flavor extract bottling factory and the marital issues of the company’s owner. Jason Bateman has done well for himself in recent years and he is perfectly cast as Joel, the owner of the extract company and the man that has to make it home before his wife puts on her sweat pants or he is out of luck. Mila Kunis is as beautiful as ever as the temp but her role lacks in the jokes department but she still does a nice job playing her character. Ben Affleck is great as the bartender/friend in the film and even though his role is limited he is still one of the highlights of the film and him and Bateman share some of the best jokes when they are together on screen. If you like the Television series "Office Space" then you are sure to enjoy this as well since Mike Judge does a great job at keeping a lot of jokes inside the factory as he in with his TV show. I found this to be a lot more enjoyable than I thought it would be and much funnier. As far as comedies go today the film is a lot more tame than most but the jokes are very funny and the performances are terrific. This is a well-written and smart comedy that should easily find the audience on DVD that it missed in theaters. If your a fan of comedy then I highly recommend picking this up, it's an entertaining and fun film that moves along at a great pace and the laughs never stop. The DVD contains the Bonus Feature:
