True Search Bar (IE Toolbar) 2.0.1:

Introduction :

True Search Bar is a Internet Explorer Toolbar, Using this Toolbar you can search Text String in Many Popular Search Engines, without opening it's Home Page including (Google, Yahoo, MSN, AltaVista, HotBot, Answer, AskJeevas, Lycos, Excite, DMOZ, InfoSpace, DogPile, Sify, Rediff, Etc.). What you have to do is just Enter Search Text in Text Area, Select the Desired Search Engine Name from list and Click on Search Button and the Search will be Displayed in the Internet Explorer Browser Window. Or you can use Advanced Search Option to search More Accurate. Each Search Engine has its specific Advanced Search Window.

Although there are so many Popular Toolbars [Yahoo, Google and MSN], Yes These are So Popular, but comes with a Price, First they Search only on their own Search Engine, Second the Recourse they Eat As the Google Toolbar will use Internet Connection for Displaying Page Rank, Second they are So big and have that much feature that we never use, and Loaded every time on Memory.This is a Vary small toolbar,and will take only a minute to install [Less then 100 KB], Because it has the Feature that you want, and Second It will Never use your Internet Connection, Until you say to Search, So that Not Eat up your Speed.

New very demanding feature Added : ADVANCED SAERCH FORM. this is differenet for each Serach Engine. so now you can Search More accurete.You can also Customize Search Engine List, Search Engine List Customizer is included with the package, you just need to click the Customize button on the toolbar.

The link below is a Zip file, download, and Unzip it , a installer will extracted, run it to install True Search Bar (Uninstaller included, you can uninstall it by using Add Remove Program from Control Panel).
NOTE : You must login as Administrator (in NT based System) to Install it.

Open Toolbar :

If you are unable to open the Toolbar, for any reason. Then you can try it from the Button Below . If this button don't seem to be work on Internet Explorer 5.0 or above then consider to reinstall it again, because it is either not installed or have some problem.

Description of the ToolBar :

It is the Full Toolbar view.

Its just the Logo, Clicking on this will take your browser to the home page of the Product, means This Page

Its the Text Box, where you type the Search String, you can use Search engine Specific Commands in this like +, -, site:www.somthing.com etc.

This is the list of Search engines, where u want to Search the Text, what you have to do is just click on this box and select the Search engine from the list.

After filling both above information, click this Button to Process the Search.

This button will let your Browser window in the Home Page of the Selected Search Engine.

Clicking on This Button will Open a new Window, Which Advanced Serch Form of Selected Search Engine, You need to fill Some of these details, then say Search, that's all.

Shift+Click on This button will let your Browser window in the Advance Search Page of the Selected Search Engine.

Clicking on This button will Open a New Window where you can Customize the Search Engine List with all the Functionality. Follow the instructions and you can Add new, Delete, Modify, Make anyone your Default and Change the order of List Search Engine in Appear in the Toolbar List.

FAQ's :

I am unable to Start the toolbar ?

Start Internet Explorer, Goto View menu, select toolbar > True Search Bar. toolbar will be open at just below the Address bar of the IE Window as shown in screen shot section.

I am Still unable to Start the toolbar ?

This can happen only when, You have either Old Version of Internet Explorer [See Minimum Requirement Section].

You Don't have installed VB 6.0 Runtime Environment, in Case Download it from the Link.

You haven't enable Third Party Extentions, To do so, Start IE, go to Internet Options Advanced Tab then Check "Enable Third Party Browser Extentions."

ToolBar name True Search Bar is not appear in the View > Toolbar menu ?

This will happen only when the toolbar is not Installed Properly, So try to Download and install the toolbar again?

If you have Old Version of Internet Explorer like 5.0, It will show the Name as "Links" instead of the "True Search Bar".

How can I Customize the Search Engine name list ?

Click on the Customize button on the Toolbar, Clicking on This button will Open a New Window where you can Customize the Search Engine List with all the Functionality. Follow the instructions and you can Add new, Delete, Modify, Make anyone your Default and Change the order of List Search Engine in Appear in the Toolbar List.

Advanced Serach Window freezes the IE?.

Yes the Window open as Model Window, Means you can't use IE window until you closes the Advanced Serch Window, Surely you can switch to other applications. When Switching sometimes the advanced serch window goes behind the IE window, so nothing will work on IE and looks that IE is hanged, To resolve this problem, just reswith to any other application the again switch to IE, this will show the Serch Window in front of IE.

How can I uninstall the toolbar ?

To uninstall the True Search Bar, Goto Add Remove Programs from Control Panel, find the entry of True Search Bar then click uninstall button.
