Okay, here's a really quick funny story. I had one week off this summer, which was between the final performance of Annie and the first rehearsal of Peter Pan. On the second day of this week, an old acquaintance of mine was telling me that he was in "Showboat" with the Washington East Opera, and he didn't want to be in it anymore. This was also 2 days before opening, and I "gladly" volunteered to take his place. He was in a lot more scenes than I thought. Luckily, the part wasn't too hard to pick up and I am having a BLAST! This is almost an all-new cast for me, plus which I am working with some very cooperative and understanding people, it's GREAT!
