| Another program that I put together just because I could though if I ever get the engine analysis software converted from Gordon Blair's "The Basic Design of Two-Stroke Engines" copyright 1990, I'll actually use this software. This particular edition of Blair's included many engine design and analysis programs in appendices though they are in MAC basic (ugh). I don't have his latest version yet. Anyways, this little piece of code will convert piston position in degrees to piston position in inches and millimeters and vice versa. I'm sure this will be handy someday for me, maybe right now for you.

Inputs / Outputs
- Rod length (center to center) in either inches or millimeters.
- Stroke length in either inches or millimeters.
- Starting position of piston in either inches or millimeters, (linear) or degrees (rotational).
- Interval for range of piston travel in either inches or millimeters, (linear) or degrees (rotational).
|
Features
- Rod length and stroke may be entered in either inches or millimeters.
- Program works either way, linear to rotational or rotational to linear.
- Standard output format for all input variations. A text table of position in degrees, inches and millimeters is generated.
- The standard output may be saved to a file for future use.
