Eos is the beautiful goddess of the Dawn. She is the daughter of Hyperion and Thea, sister of Helios and Selene, or the sun and the moon. She had flame-colored hair, white wings, and rosy fingers. Each morning, she rode her chariot across the sky to announce the coming of her brother, the sun. She was a lover of Orion, the handsome giant.And also Tithonus, whom she granted immortality, although she forgot to ask that he stay young.
