Calliope

Calliope was the muse of epic poetry, the daughter of Mnemosyne and Zeus. She was the chief of the nine muses and loved to sing of great wars and victories. Calliope was said to be the mother of Orpheus, usually by Apollo. She presided over the lower court, and it was she who divided the time of Adonis between Persephone and Aphrodite.
