Adonis
Adonis was said to be a god of Vegetaion. He was the lover of Aphrodite and the son of Myrrha and her father, King Cinyras. Adonis was born from the Myrrh tree, and was born in complete beauty, and Aphrodite was so astounded by this beauty, that she fell in love with him. Aphrodite entrusted Persephone with his care, but the goddess fell in love with him, too. The matter was taken to the lower court, presided over by Calliope. She decided to split the time between the two goddesses.
