| Above is a typcial ottoman style house. Unfortuneatly, this style is rare to see anymore. Even this one, found on a small island in the marmara sea just near Istanbul, is in disrepair. There is an attempt by some to bring back the style though most of the building you see here are concrete apt. buildings. | This is a photo from a "cruise" ship. The school paid for this little get together on the bosphorus to thanks the teachers who have been teaching here for 10 years. The food was good, alcohol abound, live band and happy staff watching a sunset as well as the istanbul sites from sunset and into the night. | |

| here is the cruse boat looking out to the haydarpasha train terminal in the background. Once a very important link of asia and europe now it is mainly used as local transort here in Turkey. Taking a train ride here can be very enjoyable. 1st class cabins with beds turned down by a conductor is well within any ones prcice range. | here Geeta stands next to grave stone. Unlike the western markers, these are often cylindrical in shape. This particual shot was taken in Trabzon, an area where russian toursits outnumber other foreingers. It is in the Northeastern part of Turkey, on the Black sea coast and near the Georgian boarder. |
