In the coconut is food or money that the group will share. Traditionally, the group of people were from the same neighborhood doing this in their own neighborhood. Now others form groups that move from area to area to accept the challenge set by others. Obviously, a fun spectantors sport. |

| Another holiday coming up as shown in this shop. Artisans make colorful "shrines" for one of the most famous gods. The shrines along with models of the god (elephant) are taken to the ocean and put in the water on a day in late august. Bombay (now called Mumbai) is located on the ocean (Arabian Sea), western side of India. |
