We decided to put this site together for a few different reasons.
We've both had the opportinty to meet Élise, and were astounded by her generosity and caring. On the separate occasions that we were lucky enough to speak to her, however briefly, she showed genuine interest in what we had to say. Her warmth was sincere, and that's a trait so hard to find in professional performers today. (Rona even received a great back rub, but that's another story! So, as we tried to tell our fellow Céline fans about our experiences, we came to the realization that a lot of people didn't even know which backup singer Élise was!
So,we decided to change that and this site came to be. Well, at this time, it's slowly coming to be. But we'll continue to work on it until we're completely satisfied!
When you're done here, we hope that you learn a little about Élise. She's not just 'Céline's red haired backup singer'. She's an experienced performer who has performed in many different entertainment venues around the world!
If you ask her for a picture, she'll gladly stop and pose with you. If you wave to her onstage, she'll wave back. Onstage, her energy and zest for performing almost makes a whole new 'show within a show'.
