This is a page about one of the greatest band on earth : Six Feet Under. S.f.u. was, at first, a side project for Chris Barnes (ex-vocal of Cannibal Corpse) and Allen West (with Obituary). It also feature Terry Butler (once with Death and Massacre) and Greg Gall. But now S.F.U. is here to stay, after the split of Chris Barnes with Cannibal Corpse, Chris decide to keep Six Feet Under as his full time group. First, they release Haunted (september 29th, 1995), followed by a world tour. Then they went back on studio for the recording of two new tracks, Insects and Drowning, they also recorded an old Judas Priest's song; Grinder and four live tracks to give us the E.P. Alive and Dead (october 28th, 1996). Next they released a full new C.D. called Warpath (September 9th, 1997) including a cover of Holocaust's Death or glory. This L.P. was bringing a new kind of vocal for Chris, but the result was very amazing. And now they're back with, what is on my mind, the best SFU effort to this date Maximum Violence (July 13th,1999), This last one is the more brutal and technical stuff they ever made and it introduce Steve Swanson (also formerly with massacre) on the guitar, replacing Allen West who decided to concentrate on Obituary
