Yes, electron entanglement has been measured in the lab, and is
essential to
quantum mechanics.Einstein was wrong on this question.
The universe is non-local, which Einstein didnot like. The
Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen
experiment has been resolved  in QM's favor. This does not mean you can
violate causality.  You can not send information (e.g. Morse code)
via
the EPR experiment. See my book Hyperspace for some more details.
