San Diego State University will be hosting the conference, following last year's conference hosted by El Paso Community College.

• Conference registration forms will only be accepted from recognized M.E.Ch.A. Chapters and Regions.  M.E.Ch.A. de SDSU will not accept forms that are sent without M.E.Ch.A. Chapter/Regional affiliation and/or sponsorship information.
• Individuals, non-M.E.Ch.A. organizations and/or M.E.Ch.A. Chapters that are not recognized by their respective Regions may only attend the M.E.Ch.A. National Conference if they are sponsored by an officially recognized M.E.Ch.A. Chapter within their Region.
• Any individuals, non-M.E.Ch.A. organizations, or M.E.Ch.A. chapters that have been sanctioned by National M.E.Ch.A., or any recognized M.E.Ch.A. Region through resolutions and/or position papers may not attend the 2001 M.E.Ch.A. National Conference.
• Any recognized M.E.Ch.A. Chapter wishing to bring students who are not from their M.E.Ch.A. Chapter must have written authorization from the student(s) in said Chapter.  This written authorization must be presented upon arrival at the Conference site in order to allow these students to participate in the Conference.
• All M.E.Ch.A. National Conference participants must show current identification, including campus identification for all students, upon arrival at the Conference site.
• No personal checks will be accepted for the payment of Conference pre-registration fees or Conference on-site registration fees.  M.E.Ch.A. de SDSU will only accept cashier's checks, money orders, or checks from your institution made out to M.E.Ch.A. de SDSU.  Payment of Conference registration fees must be submitted with completed Conference registration forms and mailed to the following address:

• To receive the Conference pre-registration fee rate, M.E.Ch.A. Chapters must submit full payment of Conference registration fees postmarked March 1st, 2001.
• There will be no refund of Conference registration fees once M.E.Ch.A. de SDSU has received payment of said fees.
• Any disruption of the M.E.Ch.A. National Conference, violation of M.E.Ch.A. National Conference guidelines/rules or violation of College rules and regulations by any Conference participant during the M.E.Ch.A. National Conference will be grounds for their removal from the Conference and participation in Conference activities.  M.E.Ch.A. de SDSU will not refund the registration fees of any removed Conference participant(s).
