I had the fortunate opportunity of travelling to Barrie this year for the almighty EdgeFest. The most interestng four hours I've ever spent in a silver limo... cheers Marcy :) After a fun filled day of (*prepare for some listage*) hearing some music - not all good music mind you; seeing Matt Murphy with water balloons - believe the hype; meeting the Headstones - yeah Marcy, get down there! Officer Hugh! ... carrot?; drinking - hey Marcy, got any tylenol?; becoming the information booth - Amy, we know all; getting my head bashed off the front security gate during the Headstones set - yes Amy, ouch; getting spit on (twice) by Hugh Dillon - Marcy, where'd you go?; freaking out to the Matthew Good Band's performance - yes Frenchies, I know all the words; losing Marcy - nice reunion hug there guys; and of course, seeing Dave in shorts - er, pants that he magically turned into shorts only that morning; yes, after all that massive excitement, I finally got to see The Tea Party perform ;) They graced the stage, but only after a brutal bottle war >:( Excellent performance, that's all I can say. Unfortunately I had some rather ignorant people around me, some of which I wanted to profusely beat the shit out of for mocking JM and his oud... no respect I tell you. Instead I opted to just let the music take me away ... *sigh* ... Anyway, that's enough of me babbling, onto the pics. As always, Stuart was exquisite...
The following are some shots of our fair Stuart in performance. Several words of praise go to Shannon for sending me these images. I was beginning to think that I'd never have any visual documentation of their performance that day... so, THANK YOU SHANNON!!!!
