The scourge of the UnderDark, these supple, languid creatures feed upon the Drow which still dwell in Necropolis area. In apearence, they are as slender reptiles with a flawless, reflective surface which apears almost as animate mirrors. They have small, underdeveloped wings, four taloned, fore limbs, two hind limbs and a slender tail. These beings are somewhat similar to the common wasp in mentality, they forrage for raw materials and sustanence to be stored and consumed within the 'nest'. Thus, the intelligence rating above applies more to the collective hive more so than the individual. It should also be noted that these creatures are masters of their form. The reptillian form is a base, they can (at will) assume any other shape with their own mass (such as spreading themselves thin over a wall). They also posses the ability (through impressive weight distribution) to climg to surfaces such as walls and celings.

Combat: Normally dropping from the ceiling, these creatures often impose a negative four modifier upon their opponent's surprise roll. After the initial impact (which includes only 2 attacks) The scourge will often rear upon its hind leggs to take addvantage of its full four attacks. If pressed, these creatures can attempt to completely engulf their opponents in their viscous forms. They may only attempt this once every two rounds as time is required to reform its shape (durring which time it is prone and open to attack). When they employ this tactic, they make an attack role with a negative 2 modifier. Success indicates the opponent has been completely engulfed within the creature. The scourge is prone for one round afterwhich as it reconstitutes its form. A victim caught by this attack cannot move, and will die of suffocation in as many rounds as they have constitution points. A Glass Scourge can continue fighting after it has engulfed a victim.

Habitat: The Glass Scourge dwells in the UnderDark. They will form a collective with one queen which can produce offspring. The queen's statistics are similar to the higher end specimen however it has the ability to create telepathic links between its self and all of the lesser members.

Ecology: These creatures feed upon all who dare trek through the under dark, they will carefully weigh each encounter before entering combat to minimise losses on their side. Carcasses of victims dragged away by Glass Scourges are rarely found. Layers as this contain type Z treasure presumably from passed victims.
