Here is a list of things you will need to do this project:
Construction Paper in various colors
Drinking straws
Pens, Pencils, Washable Markers, Crayons, etc.
Glitter, sequins, and glue(optional)
Container to use as a vase. (plastic cups, decorated toilet paper tubes, anything works here)
Stapler (For use by adults or older children)
Safety Scissors

Putting it all together:
Have a child put their hand on construction paper and have them trace around it.
Cut out around the hand and decorate it if desired.
Wrap the fingers of the hand around a pencil to curl them up.
Staple to drinking straw
Stick in container
Repeat until child has a full bouquet
Have a wonderful time!!!

Hints and Ideas:
Here's some tips. If decorating, don't decorate the fingers. It makes curling them up next-to-impossible. For a more stem-like appearance pre-wrap the straws in floral tape and staple on leaves. For parents who want to keep this on display in their home, use some floral foam in the bottom of the container and stick the straws right into it. It makes a prettier arrangement.

I hope you have fun with this craft and let me know how it turns out. If you're having any trouble with it, let me know and I'll be glad to help you.
