Justin began his real professional career of singing and dancing at the age of 12 on the Mickey Mouse Club. It helped his confidence grow and open many people's eyes of his true talent. Music was an important part of Justin's life growing up. When the Mickey Mouse Club ended, Justin was devastated, but little did he know that it would lead to the start of Nsync.
Justin and fellow mousesketeer JC Chasez were able to bring in more fans from their Mickey Mouse fan club letters. Some of his attributions to the band do not only include the ability to sing, dance, and beat box, but also his sense of humor and drive. Justin loves to be on stage. "I love that feeling when I'm up there singing and the crowd is getting into what we're doing. Seeing the smiles on their faces and knowing that I had something to do with that is wonderful."
Challenge For The Children is a charity for children. It's main priority will be to offer financial support to children's programs and charities throughout the country.
In 2000, Justin starred in a Disney movie called MODEL BEHAVIOR. This movie also starred Kathy Lee Gibson and Maggie Lawson. His character (Jason Sharp) was a teenaged model who was only doing it to earn money for his real dreams. He also finds himself confused and caught in the middle of Alex and Jeanine, twins that decide to switch places for a while.
One of his many inspirations was Brian Mcknight who has worked with Justin on his new album Justified. Justified was Justin's first solo album which was released last November. He was never planning on leaving *Nsync, but he said that it was something that he wouldn't forgive himself for if he never attempted to do it.Justified has brought a lot of attention to Justin. Something that he can't stand is the media's prying into his personal life and things they have no business in knowing. He's thankful about everything that happens to him, but sometimes it gets too rough.
