JC Chasez also started his professional career on the Mickey Mouse Club. Since there was already a Josh on the show they used his initials and that's how the name stuck. The Mickey Mouse Club is where he and Justin met and got to know each other.

Even though there was a slite difference in age JC and Justin were able to get along because of the similar sense of humors. As surprising as it is, JC was more of the shy type that didn't enjoy performing in front of people so to audition for MMC was a big step for him. While JC was on the MMC, he never realized how talented he really was. His attitude was very cautious because he felt as if people might realize he doesn't belong on the show. It took him a while to get use to dancing and singing in front of people.

Not too long after Justin's solo album release, JC recorded a song for the DRUMLINE movie soundtrack called Blowin' Me Up With Her Love. This opened his eyes to the possibility of recording his own solo album. He even started a site called only artist to get fans' opinions about his solo idea. Something special about JC is that he's a very talented writer and like's to satisfy his listeners and make the best of it. His first solo song, Blowin' Me Up, will be out soon. It is said that his solo album is due to be out during next spring.

Since he debuted the video for Blownin' Me Up on TRL you can vote at mtv's trl for it. DRUMLINE is out in theatres now so you can go see it. This "fish out of water" comedy follows a young street drummer from Harlem, Devon (Nick Cannon), who takes a scholarship to attend a Southern university (recruited by a band director played by Jones), where he has trouble fitting in, but eventually, his unique talents allow him to lead the school's marching band to great victory. (Saldana plays the drummer's romantic interest.)
