The city of Chiang Mai is a must for travelers. Hundreds of years of history are here to explore, old and new. Back-street markets crammed full of everything from Chinese lanterns to dried lizard medicine, hill-tribe clothes and a thousand restaurants. 

Mountain roads wind relentlessly through the land of the Golden Triangle between peaks and waterfalls, rice paddies and hot springs.

          Daily Sightseeing in Chiang Mai & Around 

T1     Elephants at Work, Orchid Farm and Maesa Waterfall

          Visit a jungle area north of the city to see Elephants at Work.  The program includes a demonstration of how trained elephants are used to help in logging work.  Stops are made at the beautiful Mae Sai Waterfall and Orchid Farm.   1,050 Baht per person (approx. $25)

T2     City Temple

Wat Chedi Luang is the side of formerly massive pagoda that was, unfortunately, destroyed in the great earthquake of 1545. After the earthquake, the Chedi lay in ruin until 1991, when it was reconstructed at a cost of serveral million Baht. Continue to Sankampaeng and Bor Sarng. See Teakwood carving, Silk weaving, Silverware, Lacquerware and Umbrella making.  900 Baht per person (approx. $22)

 

 

T3     Doi-Suthep and Meo Hill Tribe Village

          Wat Pra That Doi Suthep is set among the peaks of Doi Suthep. It has a lovely setting with a panoramic view of Chiang Mai. Although Wat Doi Suthep is the most recently built of the temples dating from the Lanna Thai period, it is the symbol of Chiang Mai. We also process to Meo Hill Tribe Village.  1, 050 Baht per person (approx. $26)

T4     The Golden Triangle / Chiang Rai

          The northern of Thailand is renowned for its beautiful mountains and accompanying scenery. But few people may have heard of Chiang Saen, a small town located just the northeast of Chiang Rai,  One of Thailand’s oldest towns, and once a powerful fortified city where the Golden Triangle is located and much of northern history remains intact. Visit Yao and Akha Hilltribes.  2,400 Baht per person (approx. $57)

 

T5     Doi Intanon National Park

          Located in Chiang Mai Province, Doi Intanon National Park encompasses the highest mountain in Thailand, Doi Intanon, As well as serveral lesser summits. On the way back, a stop will be made at Karen Tribe village, Hmong Market and Waterfall ( Lunch will be provided ).   2,600 Baht per person (approx. $62)

 

T6     Khan-Toke Dinner ( Northern Thai Dance & Hilltribe shows )

          Relaxation and pleasure with a typical Khan-Toke dinner.  See Northern Thai Dances, Hill Tribe Dances & Listen to tradition Thai Music.  500 Baht per person (approx. $12)    - Minimum 2 people.

T7     Full day Tour Chiang Mai - Chaing Rai – Golden Triangle – Mae Sai

          Visit the Golden Triangle where the three countries Thailand, Burma and Laos meet and divided by Mekhong River. Proceed to Mae Sai, The northernmost town. Drive back to Chiang Mai via Wiang Pa Pao district stopping at Hot Spa for enjoying scenic mountain and farmland.  2,400 Baht per person (approx. $57)

T8     Chiang Rai Day Tour – Mae Kok – Hill Tribe – Boat Trips

          Drive from Chiang Mai by minibus to Chiang Rai : Stop at Hot Spa on the way. Arrive in Chiang Rai, Lunch at Restaurant.  In the afternoon enjoy the Boat trip along Mae Kok River to Karen Village 2,600 Baht per person (approx. $62)

T9     One day Long Neck

          Drive up north to Mae Rim Road visit Butterfly & Orchid Farm.  Continue to Chiang Dao Cave & Temple. Lunch will be provided at Chaiprakarn District. Afterwards drive through Fang City to Thaton Village visit the Karen Long Neck, Palong and Akha Hilltribles.  On the way back visit Hmong village.

T10   Golden Triangle / Chiang Rai 2 days 1 night.

          Day 1

-         Depart Chiang Mai at 8:00am. Drive up north to Mae Rim Road visit Butterfly & Orchid Farm.

-         Afterwards proceed to Chiang Dao Cave & Temple.

-         Lunch at Thaton Town.

-         Continue to Thaton village to visit the Karen Long Neck, Palong and Akha Hilltribes.

-         Drive to Chiang Rai. Transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day2

-         After Breakfast, leave the hotel a trip to Chiang Saen (old city) visit Wat Chedi Luang.

-         Drive along the Khong River to Golden Triangle.

-         Take a long tail boat visit Burma & Laos.

-         Have lunch at the Golden Triangle.

-         Drive to Mae Sai town.

-         See the jade cutting factory and have free time for shopping in the Mae Sai Market ( Thai-Burmese open market ).

-         Return to Chiang Mai and transfer to your hotel.
