The Lucky Call: Chapter Four
Chapter Four:
I went into my cabin and laid down. I heard someone come in after me and I turned around to see A.J. smiling at me and sit down next to me.
"You know if you need to talk. I'm here for you" he said stroking my hair.
"Thank you" I whispered before I fell asleep in his arms...
I woke up by myself and saw no sign of A.J. I suddenly smelled the aroma of pizza. I got up and fixed my long hair into a sloppy bun. I walked into the Boys cabin and saw all of the guys including A.J. asleep. I smiled at him and touched his cheek. I walked into the Cafe and saw Nick at the table. He seemed to be the only person awake.
"Hello" I said sitting across from him. He took a bite of his pizza and looked at me with a tear stained face.
"Oh gosh, are you alright?" I asked
" Before we left, I met the irl of my dreams in Tennessee." He said smiling at a picture of a girl with very long auburn hair.
"Is that her?" I asked out of curiousity
" Yah, her name is Audra" he replied
" She's pretty" I said
" She's my angel in disguise, but it will never work. She doesn't deserve a part-time boyfriend" he said, clutching the picture.
" I'm sorry" I said
" I remember what she told me when I told her that it wouldn't work....I don't want Nick Backstreet, I want Nick Carter...." he said smiling at the picture.
" Why didn't she come with you?" I asked
" She wasn't sure if she wanted to leave home" he replied quickly
"Oh...well call her and tell her that you want to see her." I said smiling.
" What if she doesn't come?" He said while a tear escaped his blue eyes.
" The so be it. But never let a good thing slip away." I said squeezing his hand as I got up.
"Thanks Alexia" He said smiling.
"My pleasure" I said as I walked to the doorway.
" You know, maybe I should tell A.J. what you just told me..." He said looking up at me.
"What?" I asked turning around.
" He likes you alot" He said grinning.
"Oh..It's very flattering but.."
"Don't let him slip away." Nick said
" Alright.." I said smiling as I returned to my cabin.
