The Lucky Call: Chapter 14
Chapter 14( Last Day):
"Hey Erin" Audra said as she walked into my hotel room. I looked up at her from my spot on the couch. My eyes teared up when I realized that along with AJ, I was leaving a good friend behind. I dont think anyone realizes how hard it is for me to say goodbye. I can easily keep in touch , but that doesn't guarantee that thigns won't changed. I dont want my relationship with AJ to change and I want to keep my friendship with Audra and the other guys. I'm terrified to leave yet happy to go home at the same time.
Audra helped me pack the rest of my things. I told her tha tI haven't spoken to or seen AJ in 2 days. She told me not to worry(of course). "But it's my last day and AJ hasn't said goodbye" I said quickly. " Maybe it's easier if he doesn't say goodbye" Audra said in an attempt to comfort me.
After I finished packing I went to say goodbye to the other guys. AJ was gone...and no one knew where he was. I said goodbye to the guys and Audra and made my way down to the awaiting van. I looked up at the stars as I exited the Hotel. I began to cry quietly when I got into the van. The glimmer of the stars reminded me of the glimmer in AJ's eyes when we first kissed. Th eone time I fall in love, turns into heartbreak. And, of course, stupid me actually had hope in AJ and I's relationship.
I checked in my luggage and boarded the plane. My week of fairy tales ended up in a sad ending. I sat down in my seat next to the aisle and opened my cd case. I smiled when I saw the Backstreet Boys Cd. I wen t out and bought it as soon as I won the contest. I slipped it into my walkman and laid back when I heard a little girl scream........
