The Lucky Call: Chapter One

Chapter One: After settling into my new condo in Ruskin, Florida I decided to listen to the radio. I've always had a love for music. My parents always nurtured it. I took singing lessons and dance for 10 years. But when they died my desire and motivation died with them. I still listen to music, I just stopped singing and dancing. It helps me deal with their death. I finally settle on 93.3flz. The were playing Robbie Williams "Rock DJ". I love his music, it's cheesy as hell yet it never fails to cheer me up. I felt warm tears run down my cheek as I remembered my brother etting the cd for me on my 18th birthday. Two years later it's still my favorite. I decided to call the radio station and request Dream. The line was busy the first few times but eventually someone picked up... "93.3flz caller 93! Congratulations! What's your name?" An over excited voice said "huh?Um...Erin" "Well Erin are you a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys?" "Who?Wha--" "Of course! Well you have won a trip to Europe with the Boys themselves! Are you excited?!" "Oh yah...I'm ecstatic" I said dully "Congratulations! and stay on the line!" "Alright" I said....trying to figure what the hell just happened....
