Just take It slow

As they walked in, Dannon couldn't stop smiling. She was practically walking on air. Nick caught her hand as she was making her way to the stairs.

"I just wanted to tell you, I love you." He answered her confused look. Dannon smiled, and nodded her head.
"I love you too." She kissed him softly and walked up the stairs. Nick sat in the kitchen, drinking a can of Coke and thinking about what just happened. He wasn't sure what they clssified themselves as. A couple, friends, good friends? He needed some kind of answer.

Dannon brushed her hair and looked at herself in the mirror. She was smiling, a smile so big she thought her face would crack. She was so happy. They all made her feel so welcome, and Nick made her feel so, loved. She wasn't sure what she had done to deserve all of it, but she prayed to God that she wouldn't screw it up. She pulled her hair into a ponytail and walked into her bedroom. She slipped into the bed, and turned on the television. Yawning, she settled under the covers and tried to go to sleep. Jay Leno was rambling on about something unimportant and all she could think about was Nick was in the next room. She flipped onto her stomach, and smiled remembering the kiss they shared. It was the most wonderful experience she had ever had. And she thought she could feel something that intense with the drugs she took. She flipped back onto her back and stared at the ceiling. The clock on her nightstand stared at her, it was almost two o'clock in the morning. She had to go to sleep. But she couldn't, not knowing that Nick was lying in the bed in the next room.

Nick changed into a pair of shorts and tshirt. He turned his light off and threw himself onto his bed. He was so enthralled with Dannon. Everything about her made him excited. He couldn't help but smile, and reach out to try and hold her. He rolled onto his side and curled his hands under his pillow. He loved everything about her, and she looked so unbelievable tonight. He never thought he would feel this way. To him, most women were just there for his enjoyment. Something he could use for fun, he never really wanted to feel any more than he had to. But, for some reason Dannon made him want to be more than what he was before. She made him want to love her, protect her, and be everything she never had before. He thought about her in the next room, and wanted nothing more than to go in there and hold her, watch her, be there next to her. He rolled back onto his back and stared at the ceiling. Somehow he drifted off to sleep.

Dannon rolled back onto her side and looked at the clock. It was past three, and she couldn't get to sleep. She wondered what Nick was doing, if he was sleeping or thinking about her. She sat up, contemplating whether or not she should go peek in on him. She laid back down, telling herself she didn't want to wake him up. Then she sat back up and walked into the hallway. There was light coming from the windows, silvery light from the moon. She felt her way on the hallway wall, and came to his room. She slowly turned the doorknob, and walked into his room. His windows were closed, but the blinds were up and the moon shone in on him. His blonde hair looking almost white, and his lips were pursed together in a small smile. Dannon walked slowly over to him, and kneeled on the floor next to him. What are you thinking about? Are you thinking about me?she thought to herself. She wanted nothing more than for him to wake up and pull her into the bed with him. Hold her, kiss her, and love her. She was about to get up and leave when he opened his mouth.
"Are you going to sit there and look at me, or are you going to get into this bed with me?" He asked her, smiling, his eyes still closed. Dannon blushed and climbed into bed with him. She felt his arms go around her, and she laid her head on his chest. Nick buried his face in her hair, inhaling the smell of her shampoo. He kissed her head, and she lifted her face to meet his. He opened his eyes and looked at her.
"Kiss me Nick." Dannon whispered to him and he quickly covered her lips with his. He tightened his grip on her waist, and she pushed her body to his. He rubbed her back through her shirt, and slowly lifted her shirt and slid his hands onto her back. The warmth of her skin made him crazy, and the feel of her lips made him stop thinking. She ran her fingers through his hair and tangled them up, lightly pulling it. She pulled his face from hers, and looked at him. His lips were red and his eyes were glowing.
"I think you are the most beautiful man I've ever seen." He smiled at her, and lowered his lips to her neck. She gasped and trembled beneath him. She pulled his shirt up and planted kisses on his chest. Nick gathered the material of her shirt in his hands and felt the smoothness of her stomach, causing her to shake slightly. She kissed him hard on the lips, rolling him on his back and she looked down at him. She licked every part of his face, kissed and nipped at him. He laughed and she kissed his lips. He rolled her over and laid on her. Slowly he lowered his lips to hers and they kissed. Slow kisses, passion filled kisses, kisses that made them glad they were lying down because if they weren't they wouild fall from their weak knees. They pulled back, and stared at each other. Their breathing subdued and they smiled at each other. Nick pulled her to him, and kissed her forehead. He was glad they had stopped. They needed to take it slow, he needed to take it slow.
