15/12/06 - Girls Aloud are teaming up with the Sugababes to record the 2007 Comic Relief single, rumoured to be a cover of the Run DMC classic - 'Walk This Way.' With two of the UK's pop giants, this looks set to be one of the years biggest hits!
The 8 ladies are also enlisting the help of fans for the video, which is to be filmed this Tuesday.

"We are looking for guys and girls of every ethnicity to take part in the 'Girls Aloud vs Sugababes' video! If you are over 16 (with either a Rock or RnB style), live in (or near) London and are available to take part for roughly eight hours (you will be required to stay for the duration) on Tuesday 19th December, please send an email to extras@crossroadsfilms.co.uk with a photo stating your name, age and telephone number.
NB: You may be required to stay until early evening or arrive early morning so you need to be flexible about the hours. Please be certain you can commit to this date and location before emailing as it is essential and fair that, if selected, you turn up as there are other people who would like this opportunity. Confirmed hours and location can be confirmed on Monday to those chosen... Good luck!"

31/10/06 - The Girls are number one in the album charts in the midweeks! Please make sure you go out and buy your copy to give the girls their first number one album!

30/10/06 - The Sound of Girls Aloud: Greatest Hits is released today! To celebrate, Ive put together a little review showing how fantastic the album is! It is a definite must have for any fan or music lover!

1. Sound of The Underground

Sound of the Underground was the girls first ever single and went straight to Number One! Without a doubt, the best song on the album.
10/10

2. Love Machine

The tracklisting isnt in order of the songs which have been released but this fantastic party track comes second on the album. This song is fantastic at parties and always seems to gather crowds on the dancefloor! It entered the charts at number two.

3. Biology

Biology is a fantastic song, and is again, a must for any party! It entered the charts at number 4.

4. No Good Advice

No Good Advice was the girls second single and everyone was really surprised when it was released as it showed that Girls Aloud were not just a one hit wonder! It entered the charts at Number Two.

5.I'll stand by you

This cover gave the girls their second number one and and was the official song for Children in Need.
8/10 (It is a cover after all!)

6. Jump

This was released as part of the 'Love Actually' soundtrack and was an instant hit! It went to Number Two in the charts!

7. The Show

This was the girls comeback single and showed off a brand new sound. It gave the girls yet another number two position in the charts.

8. See The Day

This song was considered a bit of a strange choice for the girls to cover. However they covered it nicely, and it entered the charts at number one. For me it is the weakest song the girls have done.

9. Wake me Up

This song is one of my favourites and was the fourth song to be released off the 'What will the Neighbour Say?' album. It entered the charts at number 4.

10. Life Got Cold

This song is another of my favourites, but seems to have been forgotten in the Girls Aloud world as it is rarely performed anymore. It has a beautiful video and shows that the girls have fantastic voices. It entered the charts at number 3.

This is another one of my favourite songs! It is an instant feel good song and you cant help but sing along to it! It entered the charts at number 3.

This is a beautiful ballad and the video is set in Paris. It entered the charts at a respectable number 6.

29/10/06 - Something Kinda Oooh entered the charts at Number 3 today! That is an excellent position and its great to see the girls back in the top 3 again!

24/10/06 - Something Kinda Oooh" entered the official chart at #5 on Sunday. This makes the girls the first British act to chart in the top 5 EVER, based purely on downloads! They are currently number 2 in the midweeks (McFly at Number One) so everyone please make sure you go out and buy a copy!

Created from the ITV talent show 'Popstars: The Rivals' in 2002, Girls Aloud have achieved notable success, with twelve UK Top 10 hit singles (including two Number One singles) and three hit albums. Receiving unprecedented praise from both broadsheet newspapers, the rock music press and the usual pop publications, unheard of for a "manufactured" pop group, Girls Aloud's music has crossed all boundaries with their unique sound crafted by the Xenomania production team, and complimented by the girls' own brand of feistiness.
Now, before a brand new studio album is released in 2007, the Aloud prepare for the release of their greatest hits album, including all twelve of their Top 10 singles (surpassing the Spice Girls' record of ten). The Sound of Girls Aloud : Greatest Hits will be out on 30th October and a week before that, Something Kinda Ooooh will be released! Also, a DVD of the girls' Chemistry Show at Wembley Arena will also be out to buy on 30th October! Looks like the girls will have a busy month ahead of them!

08/09/06 - Girls Aloud have once again won the Popjustice £20 Music Award!!! First No Good Advice, then Wake Me Up and now Biology which brushed off competition from Muse and the Sugababes!
Meanwhile the 2007 Girls Aloud Calendar and their new DVD is out now, so make sure you grab a copy of each!

29/08/06 - Another day, yet another split rumour! This time its been suggested that the split will happen because Nadine was the only one to stop at sign autographs at the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny where the girls had been playing a chartity concert. By stopping to sign autographs for fans, Nadine's solo stance is being interpreted as a sign of tensions reaching breaking point. Rumours have been rife for months now that the girls are not getting on and it is understood their management was unhappy that Nadine decided to go it alone and meet the fans.
Lets hope that this isnt true as the girls have another few albums in them yet! Meanwhile, I have added more pictures to the picture page, just click on Sarahs eyes!

28/08/06 - The Girls Aloud 2007 calendar was released today in Clintons, and my God, the girls look absolutely stunning! Shame that they are so scantily clad though, because I cant imagine younger fans wanting to put this on their walls! Below are a few thumbnails, but Ive added the Sarah ones to the gallery!

26/08/06 - Cheryl has confirmed that she and Ashley will NOT be starring in their own documentary! Also Sarah has confirmed that she is well and truly single!

24/08/06 - Sorry for the lack of updates, only there hasnt been much news! Only the usual rumours about the girls splitting up and the girls have done 2 gigs in Derry and 2 gigs at the V Festival! Pics have been added to the Sarah HQ gallery!

11/08/06 - Not much news to report today! Nadine attended the premiere of 'John Tucker must die' last night with Jesse, and Sarahs done a photoshoot with photographer Danny Clifford. Hopefully we will see HQs of this very soon! In the meantime, Ive added smaller pics from that shoot to the new pic page!

10/08/06 - As the main page started to look a bit too crowded because of all the pictures, I decided to create a seperate page for them. You can view it either HERE or by clicking on Sarahs eyes (below the welcome message!). I have also created a "Current Release" section, instead of the 'Pic of the Month' section. This will help to promote the girls latest releases!
On the news front, Nadines Father has denied reports that Nadine and Jesse have got engaged, despite it being reported in the papers over the weekend!

09/08/06 - A "Best Of Girls Aloud" CD has been added to Play.Com and many fans are worrying that this Greatest Hits CD will be a last chance for the girls to cash in before calling it a day! I'll keep you posted with news as I get it!

23/06/06 - Girls Aloud have been doing their own thing for the past few weeks! Cheryl is becoming Victoria Beckhams' new best friend over in Germany, whilst Nadine is gracing the front pages of OK magazine in an exclusive photoshoot with her new boyfriend, Jesse Metcalfe! Kimberley and Nicola meanwhile, got glammed up and accepted an award for 'Best British Single' with 'See The Day' at a recent music award ceremony! Sarah, on the other hand, is said to be mixing "business with pleasure" in America! So watch this space!

Just wanted to reassure you all that despite what you may have read in the press recently, there's no way that I'm leaving Girls Aloud. 06/06/06 - The rumour mill has been going into overdrive the past few days! Rumour has it, that Sarah declared that she was leaving the band after coming off stage at the girls last gig of the tour in Wembly! However it was probably just a load of rubbish! Also, rumour has it that she is dating Hollywood Actor Stephen Dorff! Watch this space!

03/06/06 - I have added loads of content to the 'Chemistry Tour' page today, including merchandise and my personal photographs taken from Cardiff! The show was absolutely fantastic, and I really hope that they bring out a DVD of it. Talking of DVDs, Off The Record will be released on DVD on 17th July 2006.

30/05/06 - A quick bit of news: Cheryl and Ashley have signed a magazine deal for their wedding which will take place on 15th July 2006. The location has not been revealed.
