Joe did the normal thing in his late teens: can you say "Prodigal"? Between the usual adolescent drug use and some very reckless Reckless Driving, Joe was left with a body that either only half responded, or responded to only half of his brain (and sometimes vice versa!)

Following this miracle of survival, Joe has become a bible scholar, a painter, photographer, and many other things.
