<B>Thoughts To Poem</b>
I've been in love before, And though I've tried it again, Now that your love...knocks upon my door, I'm willingly letting you in.
Not to rush things, like so...many times before, But to become friends, before lovers send off. The light that I speak of, we'll see it in the end. For when one is straight and forward, That's when love can begin.
So, I'd like to take this time out To recommend to you... My love.....
From the first time that I ever saw you. You've made my eyes, take a rest... From the sourness, and forbidden fruit. For man has been given the test.
I see you as a pretty flower, Always ready to bloom. Afraid to smell the fragrance, For I might kill the rose.
Afraid to touch the flower, For the peddles might unfold. Afraid to see it's beauty, For once...when we're alone.
Afraid to get to know you, For you'll turn my heart to stone. But not afraid to study you, From a distance, for so far.
My love...I want you to cherish, For you are for-ever, the only star. And all I have to give to you, Is given from my heart.
For if our love has been combined, Then only death could take apart. Now do you understand, These words I've written are coming from my heart !
For I'd be all tongue tied and twisted, And my words...would all come out blurred. So, that's why I wright you this letter, To inform you ahead of time.
These things inside called feelings, Already recall that you're mine. Oh,how I wish I could say these words to you, Word for word, line for line. To whisper sweet nothings in your ear, And to endeavor to the end of time.....
