| Other: | Stephen's first proper solo single (as Shooting Star was released as a Boyzone track and Bright Eyes was never released except as a double a side/b side to New Beginning). This song is also the title track to his debut solo album. The video was shot in Battersea Park and shows a journey from black and white into colour and like a moving oil painting. Stephen wrote this song about his own new beginning but also as a universal song that he hoped everyone could relate to, as people are always having new beginnings or starting something new. The single went to number 3 in the UK charts. |
