Cambodian Rights and Justice Protection Organization (CAREPO) has been established on October 01, 2004 by a group of conscientious Cambodian people under the initiative of Mr. Chea Bunsak. CAREPO recieved official registration from the Royal Govenment of Cambodia on 28^th of February 2005. CAREPO emerges itself as a local, independent, non-profit, non-partisan, organization (NGO). CAREPO shall work through its professions as a human rights and legal aid organization. CAREPO dedicates to the promotion, upholding and defense of all human rights and especially political and civil rights, empowerment of the grassroots Cambodian citizens through awareness raising and implementation of these rights, development of legal and judical reforms through active peoples' participation and grassroots intervention as one of important tasks.

A. Vision:

A Cambodian society with full respect for laws and defense of rights, dignity and justice of all human person, a social peace and prosperity with high code of ethical conduct, a dedicated and regular responiveness from Cambodian govenment.

B. Mission:

1. Provision of education and awareness raising on the knowledge of human rights, democracy, basic legal and judicial systems for grassroots community empowerments for self-reliance.

2. Provision of defense and investigateion of all forms of human rights violations, reception of complains and legal interventions.

3. Participation in improvement of Cambodian judicial system to ensure the respects for human rights and laws in Cambodia for achievement of rule of law.

4. Provision of education and ensouragement of young generation to have national conscience in building peace, promotion of social moral and reduction of youth offense.

5. Lobby and advocacy through training workshops, discussion workshops and other activities amongst of civil servants in all levels for the acheivement of upholding of democratic principle in their task performances and for the achievement of good governance. The national and international instrumments shall guide the mission.

C. Goal:

CAREPO is working for getting Cambodian society improved in the fields of human rights, democracy, social values, good governance and legal and judicial system.
