I'm forever wandering through shadows
Without a light to guide my broken heart.
If love's a law, send me to the gallows,
For when it comes to love, I have no part.
Then I saw your face and at the first sight
I found what was missing inside of me.
And that moment the shadows became light
My heart learned what true love's supposed to be.
Now my heart is plagued with worries and doubt,
Fearful you will feel not the same, but I know
You are someone that I can't do without.
Maybe I could tell you and let this go,
I'll confess despite the thoughts of our peers;
This weight would be gone along with my fears.
