Is It Worth It?

Let me be the first to say
I am the world's laziest person.
I will weigh all my options
with heavy consideration
before I decide on the least
energy consuming one.
Then it should come as no surprise
that when I think of whether to tell you
how I feel about you,
I take the easy way out.
Not knowing how you'll feel,
how you'll react,
I ask myself, "is it worth it?"
And it's taken me a long time
but I finally realize
the answer is yes.
