I see you
but not like I used to
instead I am only watching.
My view is not clear,
it is way out of focus
and severely blurred.
Why does it seem
that when I am finally happy
something always drags me down?
something clouds up the lens?
The picture is not clear,
not focused enough
to even make out your smile.
All I want,
my only hope in this world,
is that when I get my next roll developed
tomorrow's pictures will be clear.
