Was anyone really surprised?
That I got hurt again?
That I got taken for a ride?
They all told me.
They said he was bad.
And I didn't listen.
My heart wanted to trust him.
My mind told me no.
My conscience told me everything was wrong.
But I wouldn't listen.
And I didn't listen.
And I let my heart be broken.
Again.
