You laid in your bed, drifting off into a relaxed slumber. Finding yourself sitting in that same venue, that you have for almost 2 weeks, with the same five guys dancing and singing up on the stage. As you were sitting there "Mr. Bedroom Eyes" blew you a kiss. Looking over to your right was Shelly, Phil's niece. Hey Shelly, who is that guy that just blew that kiss? You asked. Just as Shelly said his name the fans started screaming because the tall blonde was singing to a little girl in the front row who was in a wheelchair. I'm sorry I couldn't hear you. You said. Shelly went to repeat it when they started screaming even louder. Never mind Shel tell me later. You said. You sat back enjoying the songs and the craziness of all 5 guys. They all made you laugh at one point or another. Just think Kim, we get to meet them after the show. Shelly said so excited. Yeah and I still want to know the tattooed man's name. I told you his name it's...BEEP...BEEP. You reached over shutting off your alarm. UGH...time to get up again. You said looking at the time.
Laying in his bunk, AJ drifted into a restful sleep. AJ found himself walking into the VIP lounge. There sat the same woman. AJ walked up to her. Hi, I'm AJ McLean, I couldn't help but notice you from the stage. I would really like to get to know you better. She smiled at him. I would like that too. She replied. We are having a party in about an hour, would you like to come with me? AJ asked. I would like that a lot but I am with a few othere people. She responded pointing to 2 guys and a girl. Is one of them your boyfriend or husband? AJ asked looking at them. She laughed. No, I'm not in a relationship with either one of them. She replied. But you are in a relationship? AJ asked. Not as far as I'm concerned, he is a pain in the ass and I've avoided him for over a week now. She said laughing. A pain in the ass, huh? AJ laughed. Yep, he sure is. She said smiling. Well...the guys tell me, I can be a pain in the ass too. AJ said laughing. Atleast you are a cute pain in the ass. She said laughing. Thank You. AJ replied laughing with you. So how about that party? AJ asked again. Sure, I would love to. She replied, taking his hand that he offered. Getting ready to walk out the door AJ heard someone call his name. Hey Bone! We are in New York. Brian yelled. AJ opened his eyes. The bus sat in front of the Radisson Grand Hotel. AJ jumped down from his bunk still feeling relaxed. This is the last show for a month. Thank God, a vacation! AJ thought collecting his things to take to his room.
You got up and went to work. The day was slow which made the day seem even longer. You sat behind your desk day dreaming about your vacation that started in 26 hours from then, when a song came on the radio that sounded very familiar. You sat there listening to it. The DJ said, That was Drowning by the Backstreet Boys. Oh god I love that group. Erin, the teller beside you said. I'm going to New York with my room mates Sunday to see them for the last show of this leg. You said to Erin. How did you get tickets? They have been sold out months ago. Erin asked. Phil won VIP tickets off the radio last week. We also get to go back stage and meet them. You said. God Kim, you are so lucky, could you get me their autographs? Erin asked you all excited. Sure, I'll try. You said. Damn Kim, you don't seem very excited about meeting the most famous male vocal group in the world! Erin squealed. I don't really know them, I listen to country music. Phil and Steve asked me to go so I could share the room with Phil's niece Shelly who is only 17 or will be on Saturday, which is tomorrow. You said. God Kim, they are 5 very hot guys! Kevin and Brian are married, but Howie, Nick and AJ are single and girl are they hot! Erin said with a smile. How do you know who is who? You asked. Let's see?..Kevin is tall with dark real dark hair and one hell of a body! Brian is short with Brownish blonde hair, he will remind you of the church boy next door. Howie is short with brown hair and he has a nice body too. Then AJ, you can't miss him, he is average height, beautiful brown eyes with the longest eye lashes. God only knows what color his hair will be, he dyes it all the time, then he has both arms, his back and his stomach with tattoos on them. Then there is Nick, Oh God, he is adorable! He is tall blonde hair, sexy blue eyes, nice round butt, and I am in love with him. Erin said. I would never have guessed. You said being sarcastic. If you don't get anyone else's please get Nicks. I will try really hard just for you Erin. You said laughing.
AJ went in and got his room key, going up in the elevator to the Pent-House suites where they were staying. Going in setting his things down, his cell phone starts ringing. Looking at the caller ID, he notices that it is Sarah. SHIT Sarah can't you leave me alone! AJ yelled before he answered it. WHAT? He says with attitude. Hi Babe. She said as AJ cringed from the sound of her voice. Hello Sarah, what are you calling to fight over now? He asked knowing full well that she is up to something, but the question is what?.........Where are you at now? she asked avoiding his question. We are in New York, why? He asked still kind of leery of what she is up to. I was just wondering when you will be home. She said like there was nothing wrong. I'll be home around Wednesday, why? He asked. Because we need to talk. She replied. Talk? About what? AJ asked with reservations about her motives. Alex, I want to move back to California. Sarah said. AJ's heart jumped with happiness, but he contained himself. Really why? He said hiding his excitement. Because all we do is fight and I think we need some time away from each other so we can see if we are really meant to be together. Sarah said waiting for AJ's respond. AJ was silent for a moment collecting himself. Finally after a few minutes he spoke. Sarah, I have to agree with you, I think that is just what we need. AJ said in a serious tone. Alex, you mean you aren't going to try and stop me? Sarah said with a shocked and disappointed sound in her voice. Nope, I have to agree we need to separate for awhile, we fight way to damn much and neither one of us are happy any more, so I think you are right and you should move back to California. AJ said with out reservation. Sarah just sat there not speaking for the longest time. Alex, I do still love you very much. she said then waited for him to say something back, but he didn't until she said, ALEX!! don't you still love me too? AJ sat wondering how to answer her.
CHAPTER SEVEN:
You drove home thinking one more long day and I have 2 wonderful weeks of not getting up early! Going into the house, you heard The Backstreet Boys singing Get another boyfriend, and you could smell something cooking and it sure smelt good. Hey Steve, what smells so good? You asked. Hey Kimmy, it's a pork roast, how was your day? Steve replied. It was long and boring. I can't wait for tomorrow to be over! You said reaching into the fridge for a soda. Why don't you go get your book and go lay in a nice hot bath and just relax. Steve said looking at you. That sounds like a great idea. You replied leaving the kitchen. By the way Kimmy, your pain in the ass called and wants you to call him to explain why you are avoiding him. Steve called to you. Ugh!!!After we get back from New York. You called back not even bothering to look back.
AJ sat on the love seat feeling bad for not being able to tell Sarah that he still loved her. When she kept demanding for an answer to her question, AJ told her I have to run or I will be late and he hung up on her. God she is so aggravating! AJ yelled out loud to know one since he was alone in the room. AJ put his bags in the bedroom and headed to Brian's room to see if he wanted to get some dinner since it was getting late. AJ stood knocking on the door, when someone yelled out What? Making AJ jump. AJ turned around quickly to find Brian grinning from ear to ear. Hey Roc, where have you been? AJ asked. I just went to get some ice. Brian replied showing AJ the ice bucket as he opened up the door. What's up Bone? Brian asked entering the room, with AJ right behind him. I just came by to see if you wanted to grab a bite to eat? AJ asked sitting down in the chair. Yeah, sounds good, I am starving. Brian replied looking at AJ knowing something was wrong with his friend.
Kimmy!, Steve said for you to get your but out of the tub and come have dinner. Phil yelled through the door. Ok, I'll be right out. You yelled back. Hurry up now, you know how Steve is about dinner getting cold. Phil said leaving the door. You dried yourself off putting on your extra large tee shirt and your boxers you headed for the table. Finding Steve and Phil already in conversation about the trip to New York. I take it you two are excited about this concert? You asked as you fixed your plate. This is our first vacation together, hell yeah we are excited. Steve said with excitement in his voice. How about you? Aren't you excited? Phil asked. I'm happy just to be leaving here away from work and most of all Marc. God, what a pain in the ass he turned out to be. You said with annoyance in your voice. After dinner you went to your room, laying in your favorite place, the bay window, where you started to read your book again. Soon sleep took over and you found yourself sitting in a room filled with people. You sat off in a chair by yourself while Steve, Phil and Sherry were up talking to everyone. When in walked the same 5 guys that you have dreamed about over a week. Everyone in the room started clapping and cheering them. You sat watching them while they mingled with everyone, when you noticed the guy with the sunglasses on was headed your way. When he finally reached you, he extended his hand. Hi I'm ....Beep...Beep.
AJ and Brian headed down stairs to the restaurant. So what's up Bone? You look like you have something on your mind. Brian asked as they were seated. Sarah called me tonight and we are splitting up, but she asked me if I still loved her and I couldn't answer her. AJ said looking at Brian. Are you still in love with her? Brian asked after they had ordered their food. Well, do you still love her? Brian asked again. To be completely honest Roc, No I'm not in love with here any more. I truly don't know what I ever saw in her now that I look back on our relationship. When she said that she was moving to L.A. it was like a big rock had been lifted off my chest. AJ said looking at Brian's surprised expression. So are you happy about her leaving then? Brian asked. Sure, all we do anymore is fight and it has gotten to be more then I can handle. AJ said. Then why do you look so unhappy? Brian asked confused with AJ's actions. Because I hurt her and I do care about her, I just am not in love with her. AJ replied. Is there someone else? Brian asked as they both pushed their plates away showing the waitress that they were done eating. Not yet, but I hope to meet her soon. AJ replied with a vision of his dream girl in she mind. What do you mean you haven't met her yet? Brian asked. I just haven't met the girl of my dreams yet, that's all. AJ said not wanting to get into his dream with anyone right now. Oh so you are still looking though. Brian replied. Yeah, of course I am, shit I love women. AJ said with a smile, as they headed back up to their rooms to go to bed.
CHAPTER EIGHT:
Reaching over you turned off your alarm clock. Stretching all you could think about was thank God it is Friday and my vacation starts tomorrow. You got up getting ready you left for work. The whole day was busy, being Friday everyone got paid and was cashing their checks, so the day went by fairly fast. You had an at ease feeling as you drove home, knowing that you had 2 whole weeks off. You walked into the house, seeing Steve and Phil sitting on the couch. Hey Kimmy how was your day? Steve asked. It went by pretty fast, and now I am on vacation! You said with excitement. Yeah and New York here we all come! Phil said with the same excitement. Are you going to be ready to leave in the morning? Phil asked. You mean Sunday morning right? You asked confused. No tomorrow morning. Phil replied. Wait I thought you guys told me Sunday. You said still confused. We thought it was but we found out that it is tomorrow and we get a day of sight seeing, then the show is Sunday night. Steve said. Oh shit! That means I will be up all night doing laundry. You said in disappointment. Well, I hope you don't mind but I thought about that and Phil and I did your laundry for you today when we were doing ours. Steve said looking at you. You smiled. You did! Thank You both. You said as you hugged both of them. Kim, we both remember you saying that you didn't have anything to wear so we went out and got you something that don't make you look like you are in your 50's. Steve said handing you a box. You looked at them. You guys didn't have to do this! You said while opening the box. Looking in there was a maroon leather mini skirt with a matching zip up leather type vest blouse. Oh Thank You both it is really great, but how am I going to look in it? You said as you gave them both a hug. What do you mean how are you going to look in it? You will look great in it plus you will look your age for a change instead of like an old woman like you do in your work clothes. Phil said. You both know that I have to dress conservative when I go to work. You said defending yourself. Plus I have jeans and tops that I wear on the weekends. That is true but you don't have any going out to club clothes. Steve said looking at you. That might just be because I don't go out to clubs. You said with a smile. How well we know, all you ever do is sit in your room and read. Phil said. Hey wait a minute, I just haven't met anyone who likes to go to clubs that I would be interested in and I don't go to places like that alone. You said. Well, I just don't understand, You are a very beautiful woman and yet you don't go out a lot and you don't have a boyfriend. Phil said with a confused look. I get asked out all the time by guys who come into the bank but I am just not attracted to any of them. So why should I waist my time and theirs? Besides I am fine with my life. You said looking at both of them. Kim when was the last time you made love to anyone? Steve asked. Looking at Steve with a surprised expression, you just sat there shocked with no answer to give him. Just what I thought, you haven't been laid since you and Josh broke up which has been what 8 months ago? Steve said looking at you. So what if it was, I just don't go sleeping around like a lot of these girls do. You said proud of your high morals. I know and that is what is great about you but Kimmy, you aren?t looking or taking any offers to see if any of these guys could be Mister Right. Phil said. Look guys I will know when I meet my Mister Right and I just haven't ran across him yet but he is out there and I will meet him someday. You said with a smile.
So Roc what are we doing tomorrow? AJ asked before going to his room. Oh remember we have that appearance at T R L tomorrow to talk about our next leg of the tour and where we are going and stuff. That's right I remember now, it's at 11 am isn't it? AJ asked. Yep it sure is, so we really need to get some sleep so we can be on time. Night Bone. Brian said going into his room. Night Roc. AJ replied going into his room. AJ took a quick shower and crawled into bed. Feeling pretty tired he drifted right off to sleep. AJ started dreaming right away. There they were walking into the V I P lounge after the show was over. There the girl from the front row sat off by herself, after talking with a few of the other people in the room, AJ walked over toward her, feeling the excitement building, he was finally meeting his dream girl. Hi I'm AJ what is your name? He asked with his sexy smile. Hi AJ nice to meet you, I'm Kimberly Knight. Kimberly that is a pretty name. AJ said as he sat down in the chair beside her. Thank You, but I prefer Kim. She said looking into his beautiful sexy brown eyes. Well Kim, I am sure you noticed that you caught my eye when I was looking down into the audience from up on the stage. AJ said looking at her. I wasn?t sure if it was me you were looking at but yes I saw you looking down in my direction. She said slightly blushing. It was you, I couldn't get over how beautiful you are. AJ said smiling at you. You blushed a deeper red then what you had before. AJ chuckled. You are even beautiful when you are embarrassed. AJ said looking at you turn even redder. Thank you AJ. She said still not looking at him. Kim, we are having this party in about a hour and I was wondering if you would do me the honors of being my date to it? AJ asked. Looking up quickly in complete shock. Are you serious? She asked. Yeah, I am very serious. So what do you say? AJ asked waiting for an answer when he heard the phone ringing which woke him up. AJ answered the phone. It was his wake up call. After hanging up AJ thought about his dream. Her name is Kimberly Knight. AJ said to himself.
CHAPTER NINE:
AJ laid there, Kimberly Knight is her name. My God I wonder if she really exists. God when will my mystery lady and I ever get to meet? I think she is the most beautiful woman I have laid eyes on even if it is only in my dreams. AJ thought as he started to drift off to sleep. There in his dreams she sat in the same chair. Walking over to her. Hello, I'm AJ, what's your name? Hi, I'm Kimberly Knight, it's nice to meet you, the show was fantastic. You replied. Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it, I noticed you from the stage, I wasn't sure if you were if you were enjoying it or not. Most fans sing, dance or something, but you just sat there. AJ said with a grin. I wanted to just watch and hear the music. If I jump around and scream then I will surly miss something. Kim said with a smile. AJ smiled back. I take it then that you noticed me singing to you? AJ asked. Well, I noticed you standing in front of us a lot. Kim replied. Us? Are you with that guy you were sitting beside? AJ asked with disappointment in his voice. Kim chuckled. No that was my room mate Steve and that was his boyfriend sitting next to him. Kim said with a grin. AJ smiled. So you live with two gay guys, was that your girlfriend? AJ asked. No that girl is Phil's niece. I'm not gay. It's just I have known Steve since we were kids we played together. He has always been feminine, so it was just natural to me when he told me he was gay. Then when my parents died, he moved in with me to help keep me from selling the house. That was really nice of him. AJ said. Yes it sure was, now Phil lives with Steve and he don't want him working, so Steve stays home and takes care of the house and does all the cooking. And here I am just rambling on aren't I? Kim said blushing. AJ just smiled at you.
You walked out getting a couple slices of pizza. Thank you, I am going to go back in my room to finish packing. I can't believe how difficult this is to pack for just 48 hours and one show. You said to them as they looked at you. Why is it so hard for you to pack? Phil asked. Because I don't want to take any of my work clothes since you guys call them old ladies cloths. You said looking over at Phil. Have you packed any shorts? Steve asked. No why? You asked. When we go sight seeing what are you going to wear? Steve asked. My blue jeans. You said with a smirk. Hey you better take your bikini I hear they have a killer pool. Phil said. Really? I love to swim, You know how I love that water. You said smiling heading back to your room. You had everything you wanted and needed laid out on your bed. Getting a suitcase you packed everything neatly so it wouldn't wrinkle. You let out a huge sigh, finally being done, You were ready to collapse into bed. Placing your clothes that you had laid out to wear in the morning on the chair you finally crawled into bed. It was only 2am and you had to get up at 7:30 to be ready for the limo at 9am. Kim tried to clear her mind and finally fell into a restful sleep, dreaming the same dream she has been having every night for the last 2 weeks. Kim sat in the chair back by herself when in walked the 5 guys from the stage. They all talked and mingled with all the people in the room. Soon they guy with all the tattoos worked his way over to her. Hello, what is a lovely lady like yourself doing sitting here all alone? He asked. Just letting everyone else have their time with you guys. Kim said. Why you don?t like us or was our show really that bad? AJ asked. No, you guys are awesome and so was the show. You said. So you liked it? AJ asked with a smile. Yes I sure did. You replied smiling back. What's your name? AJ asked. It's Kimberly Knight and you would be? Kim asked. AJ looked surprised. You don't know? No, I'm sorry, I've only been listening to your music for about 2 weeks now, I mean I've heard it before but not really listened to it. Kim said. Well, I'm AJ McLean. Nice to meet you AJ. Kim said. Yes it is mice to meet you too. AJ said with a smile. I noticed you from the stage I was hoping we would get to meet. AJ said. Really? Because I noticed that you were in front of us a lot but I didn't know who you were singing to. Kim said. It was you, I've dreamt about you a lot in the past couple of weeks. AJ said. Kim look surprised. Really? Me? Well, I meant, I've been dreaming about meeting a special someone. AJ said looking at her. Really? What did your dream tell you? You asked. Well, that I would meet a beautiful lady and we would....BEEP...BEEP. Kim sat up and for the first time she was up set because she didn't get to hear his answer.
AJ was loving the fact that Kim was talking about herself instead of asking him questions about himself. Yes, but you are doing so beautifully. AJ said with a sexy grin. Just then AJ could hear a phone ringing reaching over picking it up. Hello? He said sleepily. Hey Bone, it's Howie. Hey D what's up? You need to get up and get ready for TRL. Bro. We have to be there in 2 hours. OK, thanks for calling D. AJ said hanging up. Stretching, Kimberly Knight where are you? AJ said getting out of the bed.
CHAPTER:TEN
Kim got up and got in the shower. Getting out you got dressed. Deciding to wear one of your new pair of jeans with the yellow tank top that had sweet across the breasts written out in sparkling glitter, then a pair of 2 inch dress shoes. You all had to be at the airport at 10am but your plane didn't leave until 1pm. It was because Steve and Phil had to meet with the people from the radio station. You and Shelly stood back giving Phil and Steve their 15 minutes of fame but in this case it was like an hour and a half. Then Phil called you and Shelly up because the people wanted a few photos of all of us. Finally the girl at the gate called for them to board the plane. They were seated in first class. Who would have thought us in first class. Steve said looking over at Shelly and Kim. I know we are Special if only for 24 hours. Kim said back to Steve. They all dozed off on the way to New York. Finally the flight attendant came by asking you to put our seats up which meant that we were getting ready to land. When you got off the plane there was a man standing there with a sign saying "Miller Party". Phil walked up there. I'm Phil Miller. He said. Hello I'm Pat, I will be escorting you to your hotel. They all followed him to baggage claim. Retrieving your bags, you followed Pat out to the limo. He drove you to the hotel. Getting the key to the rooms and the elevator you went to your rooms, which were on the penthouse floor. As they followed the bellhop they heard talking in the hallway. Shelly turned looking to see who it was. Oh my God that was Brian and Leighanne. Shelly said trying not to scream. They got into the rooms and began to unpack. When we are done, how about you and I take a walk around the hotel. We have an hour before it is time to get ready to go to the show. Kim asked. Yeah, I would love to. Shelly said with a big smile. The two of you went to the elevator and waited. When the door opened, off stepped Howie and Shelly squealed. Oh my God, Hello Howie. Shelly said. Hi, how are you? Howie said looking at her as Kim stepped inside the elevator. Howie stood holding the door for Shelly to get in. What are you two beautiful ladies doing on our floor? Howie asked. We are on this floor also. Shelly replied. Are you really now? Howie said a little skeptical. Yes we are down there in the mini suites. Shelly said pointing down toward our rooms. Kimmy! Phil called out walking toward the elevator. Yeah! Kim called back. Hey be sure to be back here by 6:30, that is the time the limo will be here to take us to the show. Phil said. We will Phil, we are just going for a walk around the hotel shops. Kim said. Ok, you have your elevator key right? Phil asked. Yes Daddy, I remembered it. Kim said sticking my tongue out at him. I'm sorry Kimmy, I am just a little nervous about Shelly, if any thing happens to her my sister will kill me. Phil said as Howie stood there listening. I will keep an eye on her every minute. I promise, now can we go before it is time to go back and get dressed for the show? I asked. Yes, I am sorry! Phil said going back to his room. So are you going to a Broadway show? There are some really good ones here. Howie asked. No, actually we are going to your concert. Shelly said with excitement in her voice. Well, I guess I better let you go, we wouldn't want you to be late for our show. Howie said looking at you after a number of sneak peeks at you from the corner of his eyes. Shelly finally got into the elevator and they left to go look around. Howie stood there thinking about how beautiful that lady named Kimmy was, when AJ walked up behind him.
