DID YOU LIKE IT? Aaron Carter By Jesse Mohammed, Lisa Nadir and Brittany Williams. Kidsday Staff Reporters, 9 and 10, Richmond Hill

We interviewed pop singer Aaron Carter backstage in his dressing room after his performance as JoJo in "Seussical the Musical." Aaron, the brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, has already toured all over the world with the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears, and now he is starring on Broadway! We thought he did a great job in the show; he was funny and acrobatic. At one point he did cartwheels onstage with former gymnast Cathy Rigby, who stars as the Cat in the Hat. We think this is a wonderful family show. Q. How did you feel when you found out you were going to be in "Seussical?"

A. I was really excited and happy about it.

Q. Do you like the part of JoJo?

A. I do, because I don't have to go on the stage over and over. I can come back here and hang out a bit.

Q. Did you read Dr. Seuss books when you were younger?

A. I did. I like that the stories rhyme. You can have fun with them.

Q. Were you ever in any other Broadway shows?

A. No. This is my first.

Q. What song was the most challenging to learn?

A. The duet I have to do with Horton, "Alone in the Universe."

Q. How long did it take you to memorize your lines and songs for "Seussical"?

A. It took me about four days.

Q. Are you tired after your performance?

A. I do feel really tired, but I am lucky because I am not onstage as much as some of the other performers.

Q. What would you do if you lost your place or forgot a line while on stage?

A. I would just start laughing. I mess up sometimes.

Q. Do you have a quiet place to go and sing?

A. I like to go back to my hotel room and sing there, or just watch TV.

Q. Do you ever feel shy when you are in front of an audience?

A. Yes, a little bit. When I was out there today, I felt a little shy and nervous.
