"Soooo....guessing you didn't have any luck. Just as I thought!" Laughed Sophie.
"How do you know?" Asked Jenna. Then she showed them the piece of paper.
"OMG, OMG, OMG! Ben's number!" Said Tanyel, screaming shocked.
"Shh...keep it down. I kinda don't want it to be common knowledge!" Said Jenna, quieting them.
"I thought you'd want everyone to know your going out with Ben" Said Emma.
"But It's bad publicity. And anyway, we're just gonna be friends. Micheals my boyfriend, remember?" She sighed.
"Yeah but...." Said Sophie. She wasn't gonna listen. The bell rang and they went and watched a1 perform. Ben kept looking at Jenna, and she began to blush.

Later that day, Jenna was lonely so she called her boyfriend.
"Hello? Micheal speaking" Said he's soft voice.
"Hi Mike!" She smiled. She heard him sigh.
"Look, I told you, your dumped!" Moaned Micheal.
"When did you say that?" Paniced Jenna.
"After our last date."
"Oh sorry. I wasn't completely awake then" She sighed.
"You never are. It's over!" With that, she heard his phone slam down.

Jenna rummaged through her bag till she found Ben's number.
"Hello, this is Ben Adams speaking" Said his voice clearly.
"Hi. It's that girl you met. My names Jenna" Smiled Jenna.
"Hi. You sound upset" Ben said.
"I just got dumped" Said Jenna, holding her tears back.
"Don't worry. I'm in the area. I'll come round. Just give me your address"

Jenna gave him her address and put the phone down. 5 minutes later, there was a knock on the door. There was Ben. When Jenna saw him she gave hima big hug.
"I'm guessing your not as okay as you wished" He smiled.
'I'll be fine now' She thought.
"Yeah, thanks" She smiled.
"D'ya wanna tell me about it?" He smiled back. She sat down and told him all what had happened. Ben listened to everything. He was a great listener. In the middle of telling, she burst into tears.
"Shh. Calm down" Said Ben softly. He hugged her and Jenna hugged back tightly. After a while, Ben tipped her head up and gently kissed her.
"I...I'm sorry" Stuttered Ben. Jenna shook her head.
"Don't worry" She smiled. They carried on kissing. Jenna was sure she was in heaven.

The next day at school, Jenna walked in with a big smile on her face.
"What you grinning about?" Asked Emma.
"Me and Ben!" Laughed Jenna.
"What about you?" Asked Tanyel.
"Nothing. Just the fact that....I'M GOING OUT WITH HIM!!" Cheered Jenna. The popular girl, Fiona came over and started to laugh.
"Funny Jenna. Really. I mean, we know that's not true. Someone like Ben would fall in love with someone with beauty. Like me!" She smiled.
"Go away Fi!" Shouted Jenna. "Ben's my boyfriend, whether you like it or not" Moaned Jenna.
"Quit lying" Laughed Fiona. "Ben'll be mine." The troubled Jenna all day, she got home and called Ben.
"Ben, you there?" Paniced Jenna.
"Yeah babe, what's wrong?" He said.
"Just some jealous girls. You doing anything right now?"
"Umm....I was just about to go to dinner with the guys and their girlfriends. I was gonna ask you but I thought you'd be busy with friends." He sighed.
"No way. So can I come"
"Definietly. I'll come and pick you right now."
Just like he promised, he did. Jenna had made herself beautiful and had been waiting for him.

They arrived at the restaurant, the others were waiting outside for them.
"Sorry about that guys. This is Jenna" He smiled proudly "My girlfriend"
"Good for you" Said Christian sadly. Jenna noticed he didn't have a girlfriend. Then he noticed who Paul and Mark were with. Mark's girlfriend was Tash from Atomic Kitten. Paul's girlfriend was Tina from S Club.
"Umm. Hi you two" Said Jenna.
"Hi" They answered.
"So let's go and eat!" Laughed Paul, they all went in.

Jenna stayed close to Ben, worrying what all the others thought of her. Then she spotted someone she really didn't wanna see. Fiona. Fiona spotted her with Ben and looked shocked.
"Umm...I'll be right back" Smiled Jenna, kissing him. Jenna walked to the bathroom and Fiona followed.
"I guess you should be popular for this" Said Fiona.
"Really? Your not just saying that?" Gasped Jenna.
"Honestly. You can hang around with me and my friends any time you want"
"Oh my god. Thanks for saying that."
"No problem" Smiled Fiona, leaving. Jenna left too and sat and joined Ben.

The next day Emma came over to Jenna.
"So how was your date with Ben?" She asked. Jenna smiled.
"Brilliant!" She laughed. Then she spotted Fiona and the rest of the in-group coming over. "Sorry, i'll talk to you later" She said to Emma, walking away. Emma couldn't believe how rude Jenna had been.
"So I hear your date went well last night" Said one of Fiona's friends. Jenna nodded and told them the story. Everyone was interested. After school, Jenna was walking out of the gates when she heard Fiona.
"Hey, Jenna!" She called out. Jenna forgot she was talking to Tanyel and walked over to Fiona.
"What?" She asked.
"Party at my house. Later. You coming? I heard Mark's new girlfriend is gonna be there"
"But I saw him with Tash from Atomic Kitten"
"That was yesterday. Straight afterwards they broke up and Mark found this new girl"
"Oh. Um. I'll probarly be there then" Answered Jenna. Fiona walked off.

Jenna was in her room getting ready for Fiona's party when her phone rang.
"Hello?" She said.
"Hi, It's Ben" Said Ben's soft voice.
"Hi. What?"
"I was just wondering. I was gonna ask you to come to dinner again with me, Mark and Mark's new girlfriend, Hannah. Wanna come?"
"Umm...Ben. I can't"
"Why?"
"I sorta made plans with some friends." There was a long silence followed by
"oh. Well me, Mark and Hannah can come with you then."
"No. I don't think my friend'll let you"
"Oh. Well then. Okay. Bye" Said Ben. Jenna felt guilty.
"You can come if you want"
"Umm..no. I don't wanna cramp your style" Said Ben, sounding angry.
"Okay. Then I guess I'll see you tomorrow"
"Yeah, bye" Said Ben, putting the phone down.
'What have I done??' thought Jenna.

"So you decided to come" Said Fiona, seeing Jenna arrive. "Not with Ben?"
"No, he had other plans" Sighed Jenna. She only stayed for half an hour, even though she knew the party was gonna go on until the early hours of the morning. The reason she didn't stay was because Fiona played a1 over and over again.
"Where you going?" Said Fiona, noticing her leaving.
"I'm not feeling too good. I'm going home" She said. Before Fiona could protest, she went home. She switched on her stereo. The first thing to come on was a1. It gave Jenna an idea.

She picked up her phone and dialed Ben's number.
"Hello?" He said.
"Hi, It's me. Before you put the phone down, I wanna sing you something." She heard Ben quietly say
"okay." So she sung.
"If we push aside the blame, For the tears and the pain. You know love can reign. And the world will smile again." She could hear Ben crying quietly. She went to carry on but Ben said.
"Stop" He put the phone down.
'That's it.' Thought Jenna 'Another boys dumped me.' Then the doorbell rang. She went and answered it. There stood Ben, with tears in his eyes.
"I'm so sorry I sounded so cold earlier" Said Ben. Jenna looked at her feet.
"It's my fault. I wanted to show off about you with the in-crowd because it would be the only way people would like me" Ben laughed.
"Y'know, that's exactly what Mark's girlfriend Hannah thought. She was supposed to go to that party too. But she thought and thought and realised she wanted to stay with her boyfriend. Now, it may have taken you 30 minutes, but you've realized that too"
"Yeah. I've learnt my lesson" Smiled Jenna.
"Now let's go on my ideal date" Said Ben.
"And what's that?"
"Dinner, cinema, then we can curl up at my hotel" Smiled Ben. Jenna giggled.
"Sure!" So they went, arm in arm. And a lot of the time, lip in lip.
They had a wonderful night, especially Jenna. The next day at school, Fiona came over.

"So how you feeling now?" She said, unsympathetically.
"Fine. I left because you were keeping me away from Ben." Said Jenna.
"Well that was obvious!" Laughed Fiona.
"Look, read my lips, LEAVE ME ALONE!" Shouted Jenna.
"Who's gonna make me?"
"Me" Said a voice behind them. They turned round and saw Ben.
"B...Ben....wh....what are you doing here?" Stuttered Fiona.
"Telling you to leave my girlfriend alone!" He said angrily.
"Umm....sure..yeah, sorry. Bye!" And she ran away. When she was round the corner Ben and Jenna started laughing. Then they kissed, the best kiss Jenna had ever had.
