Helpless
He straightened back up,
eyeing the dark blue ball intently. A heavy sigh came audibly behind him but he
chose to ignore it. She was only trying to distract him. “Left corner pocket,”
he orally noted, rubbing his right index finger and thumb together, his eyes
slitting slightly. A few sighs followed after that but again, as he did before,
pushed it towards the back of his head. He needed full concentration on this
shot, with confident hopes that he won’t miss it. If it were a random night, on
a random game, he would have dunked that ball with one of his eyes closed. Not
tonight though. Tonight, he had someone that was making him lose his
concentration every five seconds.
He raised his cue stick and handed it over to her. She threw her head back, in
shock. “What? Me?” He nodded and pushed it towards her even more. She hesitated
and tilted her head to one side, making the dim, yellow lights in the pub bounce
off the perfect sheen of her strawberry blonde hair. Only a celebrity could have
that kind of hair, and she WAS a celebrity. Just as much as he was, if not more.
“I dare you,” his lazy drawl floated through the air, filling up the half empty
bar. It was already three in the morning. Most of the truckers had gone to their
motels or wherever it was they go back to. They virtually had the damn place all
to themselves.
Raising a perfectly shaped eyebrow, she pushed her hair back and extended her
right leg out, wrapped in skin colored nylon with a high-heeled Gucci boot
covering the whole section under her knee. Tapping it to the rhythm of the rock
music that was blaring through the old, worn-down jukebox, she crossed her arms
in front of her expensive, white Armani shirt and matching black, leather jacket
and shook her head, making her large, loop earrings bounce with her slightly
wavy hair. “No.” She resisted and strut her chin out to further prove her point.
He smiled cockily at her, knowing that it would send shock waves through her
body. It was one of her biggest turn-ons and he planned to use it to his own
advantage. “Why are you here, then?”
Panic.
That was what he saw in those
beautiful pair of almond colored eyes. She should have known better than to set
this meeting up. She was her. He was him. Two different people who would never
be the same. He too, knew that he shouldn’t have agreed to come. Curiosity got
the better of him, took over his mind. He had to see her again. Call him mad,
call him insane. Truth is, he was obsessed over her, and she didn’t even know
it.
“You know why I’m here,” her Southern drawl filled his head. He stood still,
waiting for her to go on as he subtly roamed his eyes all over her. She must
have noticed it since she immediately stretched her hand out and pulled the
stick away from him, setting it down on the pool table with a hard slam, causing
the other five balls on the table to roll carelessly out of place. A few
customers turned to look but quickly ignored them when they realized that it was
only two teens having a probable argument over something. “Kids,” came a growl
form the back of the pub before everyone magically turned back towards what they
were doing, leaving them both to rule the center floor.
“Why don’t you enlighten me about that note you left in my room?” he challenged
her softly, his piercing blue eyes causing her to shiver slightly. She turned
her head towards the right and eyed him with the corner of her left eye. “Not
here. Outside.” She gave him those simple instructions and instructed him to
lead as her perfectly French manicured mails pointed towards the front entrance
of the pub that was covered with old posters of beer girls, pictured in
seductive poses. She nearly laughed when she discovered that she had done those
and more for top, internationally acclaimed magazines. The beer girls looked
cheap but at least no one was complaining about how they sang.
Chuckling slightly, he shook his head and walked around the wooden table, with
his head still focused on her direction. She watched as he put on his slow,
catwalk walk with his Doc Marten boots thumping quietly on the cigarette-stub
covered floor. He was oozing with sexiness that she couldn’t deny. Even though
he was wearing a tight, black shirt that showed of his well-toned body, and an
equally tight pair of faded jeans that seemed tailored especially for him to
wear and never take off, she couldn’t help but start fantasizing.
Her and her own naughty
thoughts.
He saw how she hard she was staring at him and snapped his fingers twice,
breaking away her gaze from his delicious mouth. A teasing smile curled upon his
lips, as he crooked his right finger slightly, motioning her to follow him. She
obeyed, strutting her stuff as much as she could. He noticed it and ran his hand
through his hair, messing up the already messed up batch of golden strands. He
turned on his heels and walked out before her, holding the door out for her to
exit the smoky and noisy bar, into the dark and chilly night sky.
Seeing that she was temporarily shocked by the change in temperature, he grabbed
her by the upper arm and dragged her towards the side of the building, backing
her roughly upon the dirty white wall. She yelped in pain but did nothing. She
wanted him to abuse her, as much as he wanted to. Hell, even before she went up
to him, she had imagined him setting her roughly onto the pool table and doing
“sin-ly” acts in front of the testosterone-filled crowd.
Hey! She’s 20. A girl’s gotta
live.
“Agitated, I see,” she girlishly cooed, leaning back onto the wall and flexing
her right leg up, causing her short, black, leather miniskirt to run up her
thighs even more. He fixed his eyes on her perfectly shaped face, tempted to
look down at the pair of legs that he loved to touch so much. “Only if it has
something to do with you. Now. Would you tell me what we’re doing in this small,
isolated town, or do you want me to beg for it?” She ran her tongue under her
upper teeth, smiling. “I love it when you talk dirty. But…,” she paused lightly
tapping him on his nose, “I’m not in the mood to get “down” tonight, if you know
what I mean.” He spread his arms around her and placed them both sides of her
shoulders and onto the wall, leaning forward so that his face was only a few
inches away from hers. She could smell alcohol in his breath, and for a while,
started to panic. He was probably drunk and that was an absolute no-no for a
little lady like herself. Whatever.
“You’re teasing me, babe. I know you are. You say that you don’t feel nothing
but I know you do. I know you burn for me.” His speech came a bit slurred but
she knew she had heard it right. Just what she wanted to hear from him. “And you
don’t go round, telling me that you ain’t got nothing for me. You want me. I can
see it in those eyes.” Her challenge infuriated him a little, but not enough for
him to physically hurt her. Not yet anyway. “Why. Did. You. Want. To. Meet?” She
was panting slightly now, because of fear and because of the mixed thoughts that
he was making her feel. She wanted him so, so bad. “I wanted to see you, again.”
She didn’t mean to make it sound like a whimper, but that was exactly how it
came out. How weak she must have sounded. It really wasn’t like her at all. At
least, not her celebrity side. “Babe, why do you have to do this to me?”
Putting both her hands around his waist, she pushed her body forward and crushed
herself into him, making him drop his hands. “Cause I know that I can’t get
enough of you. You can’t get enough of me. We can’t get enough of each other.
It’s that easy.” Their noses were touching at the tip of each other, her
breathing in his breath and him, hers. She wondered how often they were able to
be in such a compromising position. She’d be dead if her boyfriend saw her.
Especially if it’s with him.
He closed his eyes for a moment or two and reopened them, those blue sparkles
twinkling in mischief. “But I thought you said you didn’t want to get “down”?”
She giggled and threw her head back, arms moving upwards to securely circle
around his neck. He saw his chance and leaned forward, kissing her roughly on
her nape. She gasped, delighted, and closed her eyes when his lips trailed
further up towards her jaw line. “Give it to me, baby,” she hoarsely whispered
and unconsciously entangled her fingers in his hair, enjoying the pleasures that
he was giving her. She groaned longingly when she felt him grasp her shoulders
even tighter and push her jacket off her shoulders, making it drop noisily onto
the concrete pavement.
“It’s tearing up my heart, when I’m with you,” he playfully sang, teasing her.
She winced at the familiar sound and pouted. “You’re making me guilty!” she sang
playfully and placed her hands behind her back, preventing him from reaching
them. He laughed and pushed her newly tangled her back, tracing the outline of
her lips with his other index finger. “Ok. Ok. How about, get down. Get down.
And move it all around?” Her eyes brightened up beneath the neon lights, her
pout shaping back into a sly smile. “Much better, now that you’re singing it to
me.” “You sure he won’t be upset that I’M singing to you? That I’m making you
“sing”?” Both laughed, knowing what “sing,” meant. “To hell with him. He doesn’t
have to know,” her playful whisper assured his worries, before she tilting her
head slightly to fill his mouth with the sweetest kiss that he has ever tasted.
Pulling back mutually, he removed his hands that had found their way onto her
ass and fumbled for something in the side pocket of his jeans. “Damn,” he cursed
under his breath when he realized that he couldn’t find what he was searching
for. “What is it, sweet lips?” she asked worriedly when he started looking
around the pavement, his concentration breaking away from her. She hated when
that happened. “I lost my hotel keys,” he muttered under his breath and backed
up to further scour around the area, getting more upset by the second. He wanted
to get her in his room as soon as possible, to be inside her once again. Feeling
his need, she helped him search for the precious metal, the heels of her boots
echoing through the air. Both blondes had their heads bent down, not really
looking at where each was going.
“Looking for this?” came a very familiar voice from behind the sidewall. A hand
appeared with a key stuck in between its fingers before the owner fully reveled
himself. Fury was in his eyes, and his hands, now shaking in anger. “Oh damn,”
she softly cursed, eyes bulging out in shock. “I thought you might need it,” he
continued, throwing the key onto the ground, making it land right in front of
the Doc Martens. The owner stood stiff, not knowing if he should start a fight
or just plainly shut up. He WAS screwing the guy’s girlfriend.
“Don’t think I don’t know. You and your night time activities. I ain’t blind. I
have ears. You think it didn’t surpass me that you’re freaking it with this
guy?” “Justin, please. I can explain,” Britney begged, almost down to tears. She
was lying to herself, though. She couldn’t explain. Not when the truth was,
Nick’s satisfying her more than Justin ever can. “Sex machine, that’s what you
call him, isn’t that right? And I’m just a frail loser,” Justin spat, his eyes
now shifted to Nick. He couldn’t believe that girlfriend had called him weak,
compared to this Backstreet. “You read my diary?!” Britney screamed, pointing an
accusing finger at Justin. Nick pulled her back when she started lunging towards
him. Her fists balled up. “You should know better than to leave your diary
around in the room.” Britney felt herself sinking more and more, her secrets
unfolding one by one in front of her. She clung onto Nick for support, knowing
full well, that not only did Justin caught her cheating, he also caught her
cheating while dressing like a damn cheap hooker. “It’s your death wish Britney.
I’ll let you get back to your “lover” and you favorite past time.” His voice
reeked disappointment and sadness, not to mention anger as Justin flashed Nick
the finger and disappeared behind the wall once again.
