We have forgotten who You are
We've forgotten the One who carries the scar
We've misplaced You in this illision of a home
We turned away from the One who sits on the throne
How could we get so caught up in our own little delusions
That we got lost in this worldly confusion
Have we forgotten we revolve in Your hand
We didn't seek Your promises We didn't care about Your plans
We've run away from our Maker
Our Master
Our King
We've forgotten our Creator
The Reason for our being
We have fallen into the trap the world
We have slipped away from the grasp of our Lord
We have forgotten the power we have in Him
We've ignored the consequences of our sin
How could we let things go so far
How could we have forgotten who WE are?????
