Why is there another convicted felony;
How can it be;
Failing, falling, into life's misery;
When He's Won at Calvary!?!
So tell me, why are they slaved;
Tied to the enemy walking the road he's paved;
Bound up in his rotten lies;
Hung in his chain;
When There's A Lamb that was Slain!?!
Why is a lady being murdered;
Why is a man without water;
Longing to be loved;
Dying without victory;
When There's a Better Way to Be!?!
How do people live scared;
Daily knowing the end is near;
How did they fall away;
Once had a Saviour, they left, didn't care;
All Along He was Right There!?!
Nobody will talk about the Lord;
They laugh you away;
Don't tell me of the God of Abraham, you'll hear them say;
Why not try; why cry, why die;
When He said, It is Finished "sigh'!?!
Unknowing they allow the devil another lie;
They go on in depression;
Forget the latest attempt for confession;
Go to darkness and live;
